We are talking about a man with the balls to long con the CIA and other alphabet agencies. I don't care what his legal council said or what he claims to have said under oath. He is NOT trustworthy in the least. Micheal Flynn, one of the men under suspicions right now, even says he doesn't trust the man.

This guy is most likely mentally unstable and seeking attention as he views the political situation ripe for the conning. I wouldn't get your hopes up with anything this guy claims to have.

so many smoking guns...

you do know what a smoking gun is right?

it only means that the gun has been fired recently. That's it in a nut shell.

Lacking evidence, such as a witness who saw who fired the gun, or gunpowder residue on the hand of someone suspected of firing the gun, you have nothing other than knowing that a gun was recently fired. You can retrieve the bullet that was fired from the gun and show that it came from the gun but that's about it. You may even know who owned the gun, they can simply say the gun was stolen from them.

There has to be 100% collaborating proof of who fired the gun.

There are so many threads on ATS about "smoking guns".

You need actual evidence people to arrive at a true conclusion.

ATS is a conspiracy site. That's why there are so many "discussions" here.

The information is significant enough that they want Comey and Rogers to come back to a closed session next Tuesday.

First I've heard of that. Proof?

Both Rogers and FBI Director James Comey will return for closed sessions testimony next week, Nunes said.

I heard Nunes say it live also.

Oh I see. It's just a clarification meeting and not really something like what happened on Monday. I wouldn't expect anything damning to come out of those meetings. Especially anything that would flip the narrative towards Obama and away from Trump.

Don't know if I made it clear but I don't really have my hopes up for anything. Just trying to relay observations.

I don't see this latest development posted here yet so I'll go ahead...

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Nunes has summoned FBI Director Comey and NSA Director Mike Rogers to appear before a closed session of the full HIC. The purpose of this closed session is to ask them questions that "they couldn't answer in a public setting."

"There are just questions that we have for Dir. Comey and Adm. Rogers probably that they couldn't answer in a public setting."

Nunes also stated that the NSA is in the process of providing the requested documents to the committee and are cooperating fully [CNBC video].

The nsa is going to be trouble for the former administration on this issue. They have everything, and seem to be cooperating.

It sure seems that way...

I would like to be in that closed hearing because I think Nunes is going to confront Comey with a very ugly reality and Comey is going to be in some very hot water.

Yup.

It's all classified.

I guess the Clinton Campaign is partly involved !!

If this thing was going to "go away", it would have done so by now.

The silence of Sessions right now is deafening, BTW...

THANK-YOU for that update! So much going on that ATS seems to be the best channel for staying current.

I'm sure AG Sessions is taking some detailed notes.

Real detailed.

You're very welcome. I am keenly interested in this issue because I think it ties into another investigation that has been ongoing for 5 years+, but I'll keep that theory to myself for now until this plays out.

My gut tells me that someone from the Obama Regime has pulled a John Dean and is singing like John McCain at the Hanoi Hilton right now. Something changed Big League on Tuesday.

Yep.

Nunes went out of his way to make it clear that the newly-discovered Obama Regime spying had nothing to do with any investigation re: Russia. I believe he did that to clear the way for Sessions to proceed with indictments, something he could not have done as AG if there were anything relating to Russia involved.

A lot of political capital is being spent on this right now and I am frankly shocked at how quiet the Left has been.

And it might be coincidental, but I find it odd that in the middle of this Obama is alone in French Polynesia for a month.

This 2015 article is what I find on the Hanoi Hilton - John McCain connection. Interestingly, Donald Trump is prominently mentioned about being RIGHT (again) about something also.

www.veteranstoday.com...

Now, Republicans are starting to back NUNES. Asking Democrats where was the outrage when Bill Clinton bypassed rules and met with Loretta Lynch in secret on her jet.

Democrats are so far down the ladder of importance right now in this country, why even bother responding to them.

Some parts of the NSA seems to harbor more than a grudge against the FBI and CIA. They did something that pissed the NSA off royaly and now it's payback time. It's really weird that the aphabet agencies seem to hate each other so much. I'm curious if Comey is gonna flip on the FBI though. Is it possible to revive the Clinton investigation or is it a done deal?

"Mr. Comey, the NSA has figured out who has been illegally leaking information to the media. The messages all come from your computer at FBI headquarters. What do you have to say about that?"

"Uhhh..... I want a lawyer."
At least I can dream, right?

Maybe the NSA is unhappy about the drug & gun running that the CIA sponsors.

2017 is Watergate in reverse!

The Watergate Scandal is essentially the reverse of Obama wiretapping President Trump. In 1972, President Nixon’s illegal surveillance was exposed by the media; in 2017, the media is concealing Obama’s spying operations, but President Trump is uncovering them. The media has chosen to align themselves with the elitists and the establishment over the past decades. President Trump is a threat to big government, so the media will innately take action against him. Obama was vehemently against the victory of President Trump from the start. He campaigned for Hillary Clinton and stated that a Trump victory would serve as an “insult to his legacy.”

This is commentary and not straight news reporting of course, but is an interesting take on the Obama regime "wiretapping" of Team Trump.
