Has anyone on ATS done an official FOIA request on themselves?

If the government had you on some sort of watch list....why would you trust them to tell you about it ? And why would they WANT to tell anyone that they were watching them for some reason ?

I've foia'd twice to see my file and its still classified. I've had some extremely high clearances and I still can't see my file. Go figure...

i filed one and they said...

we are not able to confirm or deny existence of intelligence records on individuals who request them.

if we gave you the records requested then we would have to do so for everyone who request. this would enable terrorist to file a foia request and gather information.


sounds like a cop out to me.
