Well according to locals, the area including Perth Airport is a region of alleged dimensional (or other) instabilities, and the airport complex was part of the control/manifestation mechanism.
The local aborigines knew of it as a resting place of the dreamtime Wagyl, a snakelike creature that created the topography and features of the area.

It is alleged that the Perth Airport complex was designed to mirror an Ankh (life? or venus?) but later redesigned to mirror the Eye of Horus, or more specifically, Wadjet (papyrus coloured one (green))(cobra?) Have a look at the overhead views on Giggle Earf .....
