Fair enough, and you're entitled to your opinion of course.
I think perhaps where this case differs is that there is recent evidence that proves the surveillance techniques she is referring to actually exist. As i said, that doesn't mean that it happened in this case, i feel she is required to provide supporting evidence if she's making such claims, but does lend some weight to her statement, and is why I think it's worth reserving judgement in this instance.

As an aside; I think it's interesting to think that, had she made such a statement a couple of weeks ago (that the microwave was spying on her) people would have laughed in her face and probably said she either needed a tinfoil hat or was mentally ill. Now, i think there may be some folks laughing on the other side of their faces, as the saying goes...

Anyone else notice how quiet it's been since Trump made those tweets?

The silence from the pro-Obama camp has been deafening. After Trump made those accusations the anti-Russia rhetoric was put on pause and the usual suspects ran back into the cut and went dark. I think they know something and are getting ready to throw people under the bus.

Perhaps they got sloppy and little too overconfident when they thought Clinton going to the WH was a done deal. Very strange video put out by former AG Loretta Lynch last week... I think she is scared.

Crikey! Is that genuine?????? That just seemed to me to be a video including words and phrases statistically most likely to trigger a lone, mentally ill individual to attempt to kill the president.
Seriously, listen to it back, listen to where she places emphasis on the words and the underlying message (if you were a bit unstable)

Basically: the president is bad and someone needs to deal with him.. throughout history there has always been those super special individuals who saw what needed to be done and just did it, when no one else would.... yes, some of them were killed doing it but that's ok, because they're heroes.. So.. you know.. Someome should totally 'do what needs to be done' *wink wink*

Wow! Just wow. That clip comes off pretty freaky! Any idea if there is a longer version for one to try and get a better perspective on what she really is referring to? I have seen how so many clips are presented without a factual sentence left out in order to distort the message. I can only hope that is what is occurring here.

OK can someone please tell me what rights that they have lost?????????
Can someone please tell me what Trump has done that needs to be fought with death?

If anyone dies due to protesting then Loretta Lynch should be charged!!!!!

This woman is a piece of # that is trying to further divide this country! Disgusting piece of work right there!

I am all for freedom of speech, but you should be forced to have some bloody information first, not just invent it as it falls out of your mouth. Kellyanne Conway needs to get out of the habit of opening her mouth hole, before having a thought worth voicing. It was cute the first time, but after the thousandth nonsensical crapspew, she is just embarrassing herself now.

Yeah I'm sure she's talking about that too.
Rolls eyes.
She said microwave ovens. Ovens.

Please show me the exact quote that said "ovens" . Oh you can't because that is not what was said. Try again.

The only microwaves a majority of Trump supporters knows are ovens.

Yes how dare she tell people to exercise their rights and protest. Not to mention the founders would have backed her as well because of that little quote by Jefferson. "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants." Face it the delusional little wannabe tyrant you support is only starting to see the resistance against him.

See, Obama has a highly trained cockroach army spying on Trump by taking sketches and dictation..we know this..Obama!!!!

Pretty sure she is speaking about this, not an actual microwave turning into a camera.

A SMALL, MICROWAVE-DETECTING camera that can see through solid materials in real time has been developed. Soon, the device could be adapted and used in law enforcement and security where, among other uses, its inventors envision airport scanners that screen passengers for weapons or explosives as they walk by.

“It will be exceptionally cheap,” Padilla said. “You can indeed simply adhere it to a wall and it can perform imaging.”

I wonder what the legal quagmire that will become. can cops use a basically x-ray camera to peer into homes without actually being on property..hmm

Of course they can...they can already use low flying planes to capture cell phone activity and sensors to see how much money you carry and plenty of other neat tech. As long as they aren't on your property then how would anyone know right?

Oh, I am not discussing what they can do, just what they can use.
They probably got all kinds of tech that can spy on my every activity, but its useless information unless they can use the information gathered to prosecute or otherwise use in some official form..which is unlikely they can without all sorts of warrants, and exposing what they can do and are doing.

That just shows that the WH is getting the evidence for its defense from the media.
Where was this high tech argument prior to Wikileaks release of similar technology?

Last week it was old school James Bond wire tapping. And Kellyannes response was that the president has access to information we do not have.
Fine.
But suddenly oh we have a bit more info. Which just happens to echo the latest Wikileaks release.
I don't know it all seems just a bit convenient. I raised three boys and I can tell when I'm being fed a story when details emerge with subsequent telling.

I think it is more about what information they can gather then find a way to say it was gathered in a different manner.

Well that's just the point. She didn't suggest it was being used at all in the interview. She just said that surveillance tech like this was available based on an article that had just come out. Nowhere does she say they claim that is what was used and even goes back to the Russian accusations that have still not been proven.

You're definitely being fed a story, but it isn't by Trumps team....its by misinterpreted poor journalism stating a suggestion was made when it wasnt.

I mean if we REALLY want to pick apart the OP I guess I could just state the super obvious flaw of OP stating Kellyanne herself is a possible candidate for Solicitor General..even the journalist in the article didn't get it that wrong, but anywho...who needs non-biased truth for journalism right?

So she included that to flesh out her half of the conversation? It doesn't pertain to surveillance of trump tower. Just an interesting aside? Ok. Fair enough.
Still seems contrived.

I just heard something about a letter? No details but they were talking about the deadline given to the DOJ in regards to this issue.
I'm sorry. I know that sounds sketchy. That's all I have.
Anyone know anything about a letter?
