The non-prediction,prediction

This was never meant to be a prediction.
And yet, it has very much came true.

And I consider this in the same realm others considered the Simpsons predicted 9/11.

When satire became reality.
And this was over 20 years ago.

It was like that even back then. Nothing predictive about it.

You notice the crowd was laughing at the skit.
It was considered comedy.

You really think in todays culture, you could get away with that skit on tv?

Yes yes kids in the hall, HBO and all that stuff.

I'm a fan too.

And was old enough to know what was considered and allowed to be comedy.

Without the media, or twitter and facebook, or the MSM trying to ruin your career.

Say what you will, but no, things weren't that way.

Hence why the skit was considered comedy.

It was meant to be an over the top satire on society.

But now that satire is reality.

I remember that skit fondly. It was indeed like that. It's just the perpetually outraged brigade couldn't use social media to stir up such a sh!t storm because it didn't exist yet....ahhhhh good times.
