Looks like the Middle East nation of Kuwait has made a travel ban of its own.

They have placed a passport ban on 5 nations apparently for "terrorism" reasons.

Visas are unobtainable even for trade.

All those banned nations are predominately Muslim religion based.

Hmmm.

And as a side note, Kuwait is one of two Muslim nations that allow Citizenship for their Christian populations, and their schools teach English in grade schools.

"MUSLIM BAN" - Kuwait Introduces Visa Ban on Citizens from five Muslim-majority countries

Kuwaiti government introduced a US-like travel ban on passport holders of five Muslim-majority countries, according Gulf state.

The Kuwaiti new blanket ban includes Syrians, Iraqis, Iranians, Pakistanis and Afghans.

The ban is in place and citizens from those countries are not able to obtain visit, tourism or trade Kuwaiti visas.

The Kuwaiti state ascribes the travel restrictions to the instability and the existence of terrorist groups in those countries and that the ban would be lifted once the security situation improves.

So the United States has aspirations to be like Kuwait? Nice to see the bar raised so high.

I have zero interest in my country modeling itself after any M.E. country.

Go figure.
Wonder what the reason could possibly be?

I'm just curious.

The reason for the temporary stay on accepting refugees was to put in place a better vetting procedure so that we can take better care to make sure we don't import terrorists along with the refugees.

If you truly do not want to be like a ME country, then you would be all for this because it's intent is to make sure we don't become an instable, terrorist ridden hell hole.

Then why do you want to turn the United States into a muslim country by letting them all in?

Just out of interest, Whats your thoughts on the situation in europe regarding the influx of migrants?

Color me as not impressed.

The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), now threatening Baghdad, was funded for years by wealthy donors in Kuwait, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia, three U.S. allies that have dual agendas in the war on terror.

Dual Agendas

Trump is genuinely trying to do something about it.

Yep, because there have been sooooooo many attacks in the U.S. from terrorists originating from these countries.

You sacrifice our values as a country for security against an extremely limited problem.

Does this mean that an attack from an individual originating from one of these countries is impossible? No, of course not.
Your values are only as strong as your willingness to take the inevitable hits you'll receive by those who want to undermine those values.

More attacks will happen, there's absolutely nothing you, me, or anyone else can do about it. I don't like it any more than anyone else. Seeing fellow countrymen hurt breaks my heart just as much as any passionate conservative on this site. To insinuate otherwise is an amateur argument.

Islamic extremism will never dictate my values. I'll never give them the pleasure of such an honor.

You give them that honor because you govern your reason no better than you govern your narrative.
