Except what he is doing is everything he said he would do. That sort of suggests that he knows what he is doing.
I could have sworn I have heard him talk about walls, border security. immigration, getting rid of TPP and NAFTA, energy independence..before he took office.

A Rush Limbaugh caller today said that much of "Trump Wall" could be funded with seized DRUG MONEY. I did a quick Google, and sure enough, a staggering $8.7 BILLION was collected/seized just in 2016 alone.

Apparently the Obama Administration did a pretty good job with it's war with drugs? But I have a feeling that 2017 will be even better.

Since the latest estimate as of 1.25.2017 is $20 Billion for Trump Wall (ref: www.investopedia.com... ), drug seizures would pay for a huge portion of it. Mexico will pay the rest.. indirectly of course.

Why? If your job is so easy to do that an illegal who speaks little to no English can do your job... do you think it really matters? The citizen who instead isn't working wouldn't be bringing in any income anyways.

My premise is that Illegals are coming to the US because American companies are giving them incentives to come here (Jobs). My point was about how to go about stopping illegals ,if that is really what you wan't to do.

I don't think the Wall is necessary to stop the majority of them coming.

A better method:
If the illegals can't get jobs in the US because American companies stop hiring them due to heavy penalties , then a large portion of illegals will stop coming. That would free up resources to handle the ones coming solely with bad intentions, versus those seeking jobs which is a huge chunk.

It would become like the Canadian border and no need for a wall.

It has nothing todo with the fear of them taking American jobs or Americans having to compete with them, if anything its the opposite.

The stopping of the majority of illegals is the easy part (Take away incentives).

The hard part is the consequence of doing it. Our economy would likely tank because illegal workers are so ingrained into our workforce and economy, if not done properly.

But he is so intelligent! Walls do have a proven track record of working. China built a wall thousands of years ago and they have practically no Mexicans...

A tremendous waste of money and resources. Does he not realize there's already a fence there? The same mechanics that allow a fence to be compromised apply to a wall? Tunnels? A rope? A ladder? Trains? Planes? Automobiles? (Hehehe) A guy with a good arm tossing drug packs over the wall? (Because they literally do that) all the fence did anyway was destroy public property. It's already hard as hell to cross the border

The Border Patrol Union backed Trump. I'm just curious, do all you anti-Trumpers and anti-Wallers believe you know more than our border patrol agents? No offense, but I will take their recommendations over yours everyday. Build The Wall!

Well no Duh!! Just like law enforcement backs the War on Drugs. It's where their funding comes from. Any money pouring into their programs in any form is self-serving. Increased budgets, more money for them.
