"Heroin dealers have been acting with impunity throughout Britain."

That's because a significant number of the people responsible for the importation and distribution of the stuff are Police!

So the people who work for them at supply level do indeed carry with them a measure of impunity of sorts.

Loose women? Jesus are we back in the 1930s?
He lived a lifestyle that got him shot. Most people are not up in arms about his death. We don't have senseless civilian shootings in the numbers the US does. Hopefully it will stay that way.

This is also true after all if you live by the sword, or in this case the pipe, you die by the pipe/sword.

Fact is drug dealers lead dangerous lifestyles and have been known to meet there ends under violent circumstance. Its kind of the price they pay for there lifestyle choice.

You guys need yourself a Trump. Merkel murkd your continent. I will never get to know the land of my forefathers.

The asians were encouraged here post war by the British government policy, the people involoved in crime and this shooting has nothing to do with Merkel. Virtually as soon as the new arrivals got here bought in for cheap labour the textile mills pretty much all shut down and left a mass of asians in Lancashire and Yorkshire. There is nobody to blame on the continent, our own government encouraged these people to move here when the Irish immigration here dried up. They were needed at the time but as soon as they arrived the mills shut down and left whole areas with very little work, so the kids grow up in ghettos and like elsewhere on Earth they try to make a living any way they can. The communities got left behind by fast economic change.

I grew up and attended secondary schools with loads of people of the Asian persuasion, predominately Indian and Pakistanis.

Truth is there fathers and mothers came to our nation to fill a variety of job descriptions our own people simply did not want to do at the time.

Most of them managed to integrate seamlessly into our communities, the only ambivalence displayed towards them came from our own people of the racist variety.

Exactly, just like now with the Poles etc who fill jobs the locals don't want or can't be arsed doing, they came to better themselves. Plus in their case they came to what was the mother country and were part of a 'British' world that they had grown up in overseas but they were already part of the British world due to the Empire. Around many areas they have become integrated and more British than anybody when they get the top of society. Whole areas in Lancashire though have been left behind from the economic development seen elsewhere and the kids will go into this gangster world like they do anywhere else that's been left behind.

Zero Sympathy.

I rather pay for flowers and a headstone than pay for them to sit in prison watching tv.

According to early release from the initial inquest they found a gun, ammo and a SILENCER in the footwell of the audi.
Also reports of holding a gun to a woman's head earlier that day (in fairness, not sure of validity of this report).

However, when all the pieces about this individual are added together it is hard to have any sympathy whether the shooting by the Police was justified or not. Can't say I'm happy to feel that way about what could be an extra judicial killing but there you go.

Some of them kind of are imprisoned just by the way they choose to live there life and they don't ever relies it, especially if they decide to sample there own product.

Fact is people who choose to peddle pain and misery, which is exactly what Smack amounts to, generally get there comeuppance in one form or another, sometimes ending in a spectacularly gruesome manner.

Good riddance

Its not alleged, its factual that this guy was a piece of shyte and a criminal.
Doing things the "right way" would have cost time and money and ended up with him just running things from behind bars.

Im all for the Duerte method

They should put pictures of the gruesome endings on billboards to show the next generation of dealers just how awesome the life really is. It might deter of a few kids. They used to do that here in the us with drunk driver accidents.

The guy was quite probably a scumbag and may have been justifiably killed but it's the framing of the story and the way the media have worked throughout it that I have issues with.

You have armed police without body cameras killing an allegedly armed suspect, whether the gun was used to directly threaten officers and cause them to fear for their lives or they found it in the vehicle after the fact is important in whether they conducted themselves appropriately in that situation. I'd like to know why body cameras weren't worn.

You then have the mainstream media trawling through a dead man's dating profiles and social media accounts, doorstepping his grieving relatives on the day of the incident and attempting to form a narrative and perception that his death was justified long before an investigation is even concluded with no regard for their right to privacy. I don't think that's right at all.

According to Socialist Wanker it's about race, Donald Trump, and 'those people over there'.

I think it's about a smack dealer getting shot which fills me with a glorious sense of hope.

Imagine a world without tailgating Audis.

I wholeheartedly support adding "he was driving an Audi" to the list of situations in which a policeman can shoot somebody.
