Hi ! I'd followed the UGS monitoring system and get a footage of the events in 12/26/2016 too, if you want to look I can send by e-mail, otherwise it is listed at youtube, this is the tittle "What happened in 12/26/2016 ? The day the Earth almost came to the end.". It was really scary, I contacted the UGS and as answer they said that could be noise or equipments set to high sensibility. I can´t believe that in the whole planet and at the same time, those events could be simple coincidence. Something serious happened and we have no alerts.

The system is run by USGS
Likely the problem was at the destination where the traces were sent to from the stations rather than a bunch of individual stations having technical problems at the same time. It's all digital, so anything can go wrong at any time.
