President-elect Donald Trump has picked Linda McMahon, a former professional wrestling executive and former Republican contender for Connecticut's U.S. Senate seats, to lead the Small Business Administration.
“Linda is going to be a phenomenal leader and champion for small businesses and unleash America's entrepreneurial spirit all across the country," Trump said in a statement announcing the choice on Wednesday.
Linda McMahon, co-founder of the professional wrestling franchise WWE and a former Republican Senate candidate from Connecticut, infused a super PAC supporting Donald Trump with $6 million in August and September, new campaign finance filings show.
McMahon's support for the super PAC marks the second occasion in which she has stepped up with major financial support for Trump. Between 2007 and 2009, she and her husband Vince gave $5 million to Trump's charitable foundation.
Hillary Clinton placed dozens of her donors on State Department advisory boards between 2009 and 2012, federal records show.
The former secretary of state's agency appointed 194 donors who had given either to her family's foundation, her political campaigns, or both, or were affiliated with groups that had.

Along with her husband Vince, McMahon founded WWE in 1980 and gradually built the wrestling company into a publicly-traded, $1 billion brand. McMahon left the company in 2009 to enter politics, running unsuccessfully for a U.S. Senate seat in Connecticut in 2010 and 2012.
"Linda has a tremendous background and is widely recognized as one of the country’s top female executives advising businesses around the globe,” Trump said in a statement. “She helped grow WWE from a modest 13-person operation to a publicly traded global enterprise with more than 800 employees in offices worldwide. Linda is going to be a phenomenal leader and champion for small businesses and unleash America's entrepreneurial spirit all across the country."

I was agreeing with you. So combative.
HRC's slogan, "stronger together," is pretty relevant within the contexts of appointments via donations.
Sorry this was hard for you to grasp.

Shes political and she runs a business that grew exponentially, for me that seems reasonable.
Not sure Id call her a political insider either so shes not part of the "swamp"
Lets be perfectly honest here, I know nothing about the woman except for what Ive written above and that she has a hot daughter, maybe she will do a good job maybe she wont, well just have to wait and see.
It wouldnt matter who Trump picked all you pathological Trump haters would complain and based on that your objections have lost all meanings.

Please point out how she is not qualified for the position she was selected for.

"For someone who claims to be an outsider, she seems to have mastered the D.C. insider game."

World Wrestling Entertainment Inc., the professional wrestling empire formerly led by Republican U.S. Senate hopeful Linda E. McMahon, has collected nearly $3 million in state tax credits, most of which were issued just eight weeks before McMahon resigned last month to run for office
The Connecticut Commission on Culture and Tourism’s records reveal that the tax credits for WWE were issued in connection $12.3 million in expenses incurred in 2007 by two of the company’s television productions, “Smackdown!” and “Raw,” as well as by the company’s Web site, WWE.com.
