Pay to play anyone?

President-elect Donald Trump has picked Linda McMahon, a former professional wrestling executive and former Republican contender for Connecticut's U.S. Senate seats, to lead the Small Business Administration.

“Linda is going to be a phenomenal leader and champion for small businesses and unleash America's entrepreneurial spirit all across the country," Trump said in a statement announcing the choice on Wednesday.

Politico

How much did McMahon donate to Trump?

Linda McMahon, co-founder of the professional wrestling franchise WWE and a former Republican Senate candidate from Connecticut, infused a super PAC supporting Donald Trump with $6 million in August and September, new campaign finance filings show.

McMahon's support for the super PAC marks the second occasion in which she has stepped up with major financial support for Trump. Between 2007 and 2009, she and her husband Vince gave $5 million to Trump's charitable foundation.

Washington Post.

Let's see how the facts and the truth are bent this time.

Hillary Clinton placed dozens of her donors on State Department advisory boards between 2009 and 2012, federal records show.

The former secretary of state's agency appointed 194 donors who had given either to her family's foundation, her political campaigns, or both, or were affiliated with groups that had.

Looks like it's common practice.

Her slogan wasn't "drain the swamp".

Quite the opposite. Means much more within this context too, no?

Would you care to point out how McMahon is not qualified for this position?
She looks as if she has some amazing qualifications

Along with her husband Vince, McMahon founded WWE in 1980 and gradually built the wrestling company into a publicly-traded, $1 billion brand. McMahon left the company in 2009 to enter politics, running unsuccessfully for a U.S. Senate seat in Connecticut in 2010 and 2012.

"Linda has a tremendous background and is widely recognized as one of the country’s top female executives advising businesses around the globe,” Trump said in a statement. “She helped grow WWE from a modest 13-person operation to a publicly traded global enterprise with more than 800 employees in offices worldwide. Linda is going to be a phenomenal leader and champion for small businesses and unleash America's entrepreneurial spirit all across the country."

"drain the swamp" has no context if you consider who Trump picked.

Also, I'm not sure how you decided hers an 'opposite' but it's not.

It really has nothing to do with Hillary other than Trumps slogan is hypocritical.

Are you going to blame Hillary too if one of them is caught dirty dealing?

I was agreeing with you. So combative.

HRC's slogan, "stronger together," is pretty relevant within the contexts of appointments via donations.

Sorry this was hard for you to grasp.

Shes political and she runs a business that grew exponentially, for me that seems reasonable.
Not sure Id call her a political insider either so shes not part of the "swamp"

Lets be perfectly honest here, I know nothing about the woman except for what Ive written above and that she has a hot daughter, maybe she will do a good job maybe she wont, well just have to wait and see.
It wouldnt matter who Trump picked, all you pathological Trump haters would complain and based on that your objections have lost all meanings.

Bagging Trump whatever he does is the Lefts new "Youre racist" or "Youre a bigot" its just something you all say and do because youre a bunch of seriously butthurt malcontents.

GO TRUMP!!!!

What's impossible for you to grasp is Hillary's actions AREN'T Trumps. I've seen this endlessly through the election, and now with picking Trump choices, they're criticized against Non-elect Hillary. What a joke. Can you keep any context of anything Trump does without contrasting it to Hillary?

Agreeing with me would be the stance Trump is a total Hypocrite. Not that it's acceptable because Hillary.

We all know blaming Democrats endlessly is to cause false-flag safety nets for all the dumb levels Trump will sink to anyway.

Is it...impossible? You must have missed the Obama sources too. Not your fault though right?

Is it fathomable that I agree that these are not the greatest choices in my eyes that Trump is picking? Weird huh.

What we all know..now that's impossible!

Point out how a Billionaire Entertainment Media Producer who has only negotiated wrestling contracts and pushed wrestling merchandise franchise is not qualified to be small business administrator?

Just extremely ironic, possibility hypocritical and huge conflicts of interest. Her company made most of it's fortune dodging taxes with Credits. Easy to see why Trump likes her.

Link"Linda McMahon has paid lobbyists over a million dollars to secure millions more in taxpayer subsidies for her pro-wrestling company and made over $100,000 in campaign contributions to curry favor with powerful politicians," said Simmons spokesman Raj Shah. "For someone who claims to be an outsider, she seems to have mastered the D.C. insider game."

Link
World Wrestling Entertainment Inc., the professional wrestling empire formerly led by Republican U.S. Senate hopeful Linda E. McMahon, has collected nearly $3 million in state tax credits, most of which were issued just eight weeks before McMahon resigned last month to run for office

The Connecticut Commission on Culture and Tourism’s records reveal that the tax credits for WWE were issued in connection $12.3 million in expenses incurred in 2007 by two of the company’s television productions, “Smackdown!” and “Raw,” as well as by the company’s Web site, WWE.com.

You're literally a troll. Deflection? I wasn't even talking to you, and I answered the question. I don't think she's unqualified and never said such, I think she has enormous conflict of interest, just like Trump and everyone he's picked.

You've added nothing again btw. Running out of Hillary facts? Going to be hard when there is no strawmen to point to in this administration cycle, unlike the election.

So she built a small business into a mega-million dollar empire? And you have a problem with that because it's WWE and not GE?

And find me a company that doesn't use all tax credits available to them (isn't that why they are there?)

Pros - she's qualified and experienced and why wouldn't he want someone trusts in his camp? She guided the WWE wrestling franchise to international success and knows her audience; she also knows the show-biz of politics and all the big names in corporate media. She's run for the Senate and will have big-name politicians as friends.

Cons - She's spent $100 million to get into politics and is worth $1.6 billion. It could be argued she's another crony 1%er being brought to the political party. 68? The old ideas are what tanked the world economy into recession - isn't it time for new ideas? Genuine question.

It's easy and understandable why he'd choose her, but people shouldn't still be whooping about all that swamp-draining. Time to realise that this is how politics works.

I'll take it.

Oh, I know you weren't talking to me but it is an open forum

Followed by a panel of EPA experts who will assert that Trump not washing his feet before he did the walk posed a serious environmental hazard and as a result theres a 90% chance that he has contaminated The entire US water supply.
They will also have close up footage of him stepping on a gnat on the surface of the water proving without doubt that he enjoys abusing animals
