It appears the 1100 number is completely wrong.

350 Research and Development jobs were never leaving the U.S.

730 Union member jobs and 70 office/clerical workers were left. 550 jobs are going to Mexico from the Indianapolis facility and 700 from the Huntington facility.

The 550 Indianapolis facility people really thought they were keeping their jobs. They were laid off, so carrier can hire 550 in Monterey, Mexico.

None of these numbers make sense. It seems to only leave the R&D jobs that were never leaving.

Dealmaker? NO, showman. Well. showman is being too nice. He wanted a news cycle to say he saved jobs. He's a fraud. The Art of the Fraud.

LOL. Ya, in the video...the bright side is, a few jobs aren't going to Mexico...but most are. Almost all they wanted to send to begin with.

I'll be honest, when the news came out about this deal, I thought to myself this seems like a good deal. But now that the real number is really retaining about 200 jobs with about 500 already slated to stay before this deal; the tax payers are going to get stiffed here.

Let's see, losing 550 jobs, and paying for 50% of the plant upgrades which will automate even more jobs out the door. Way to bargain Donald. I'm sure those laid off Carrier workers (and laid off teachers that will be necessary to pay for the upgrades) will be just tired of winning soon.

F me. Trump is going to make GWB (who was most likely the worst president in the last 100 years) look like George Washington. Trump is the ultimate con man. You can already see that he's going to make a huge mess, blame others, and leave everyone to clean up after him.

1150- 550-700= minus 100

Your info is a little off. The 350 is not Carrier, it's another company, Rexnord.

Jones added that Trump should also help the 350 workers at an Indianapolis plant owned by another company, Rexnord, which is also slated to move to Mexico. Workers there are also members of USW Local 1999.

800 jobs saved and 300 never leaving according to CNN

To get the higher number, Carrier and Trump are counting 300 administrative and engineering jobs at a different facility in Indianapolis that were never at risk of being shipped to Mexico.

Where did you pick up the 550 number from?

Silver lining is that 800 minimum jobs were saved.

To the DNC? He is the head of the local Union. He states he was happy, at first, when Trump stepped in. But not now. as people who thought they were keeping their jobs are LAID OFF and Carrier will be hiring in Mexico.

Do you not comprehend? That and English, in the sense it is a language I assumed you spoke?

So he lied and will continue to do so in the most brazen fashion, for now we will live in Trump's world where up is down and 1+1=5 , the polar caps aren't melting and smoking reduces the risk of lung cancer...

You can b itch about the union all you want. The reality is that many of those "trump"ed up numbers was a lie and that many of those 1100 jobs and Trump just committed corporate welfare at our expensive to the tune of $7 million to save 200 jobs (again 500 of them were already slated to stay before the deal).
