We are all human beings... Rosie to a lesser degree, but still... We all have feelings and emotions. We all have worries and concerns. We all have things that upset us. With that in mind, WTF people???

Every single day I log on hoping to find something uplifting. Something spiritually satisfying, joyous, or just not a total suck. And it seems like every day I get disappointed. No. Not disappointed. Pummeled into submission. Beaten down. Disgusted.

Every day I see news stories that are really making me sick now. I know, there have always been bad people doing bad things. And in this age of instant information it makes sense that we are exposed to more of it faster than ever before. But really...WTF? Every day the headlines amaze me. Some dickhead rapes two 8 month old babies. Some other asshat beats a dog nearly to death, tapes its mouth shut, and leaves it for dead on the side of the road in a plastic bag. Some complete loser cuts the eyelids off a litter of puppies. Yes, you read that right.

And to add insult to injury, there is a whole generation of #ing whiny losers crying about an election that didn't go their way so they burn flags and cry in their safe zones and wait for someone to make it all better. Hey, snowflakes! If you want to shed a tear, why not shed a few for the poor suffering creatures being tortured for fun by a bunch of sick assholes? If you want to change things, why not start with baby rapists and child molesters instead of voters who disagree with your precious little opinion that mommy and daddy told you was perfect? If you want to make a statement why don't you stand up to racism and hatred masquerading as social justice instead of burning our flag? Or better yet, why don't you join the military and learn to respect the damn thing first and earn the right to make your pathetic little statement?

A few years ago I predicted the end of times being heralded by a horrific crime against the children of the world. It came to me in a dream and I treated it like any other dream that seemed to predict the future. I said, ok... lets see what happens. I never thought I would live to see such horrific acts of cruelty issued forth against such innocence as children and pets on a daily basis. And remember this - these acts only escalate. The perpetrator stops getting his buzz from the same simple act over and over again so he steps up his game, getting more and more grotesque as time passes. And think of how many sick bastards there are doing this #. Its only going to get worse.

George Carlin was right. Earth will do just fine. The people are #ed. But the planet will do just fine.

Stop reading the headlines. Stop watching the news. It is a distortion of reality. As you walk around the town you are living in those are real experiences. Unless you live on Lincoln street in Neward NJ, then I imagine what you experience in your town is nothing like what you see on the news.

We don't know how to cope. We evolved for 194,000 years as warring tribes. Only the last 6,000 are considered "civilized". Peace makes us crazy. We need war. I'll be playing Call of Duty.

I appreciate the thought. I know the common sense thing is to step back and not look at it. But you really cant escape it. If you don't look at it, someone else will and tell you about it. Its just sickening what we are doing to the innocent. And that is the part that really gets me. If two grown men want to hack away at each other I say sell tickets and get me some popcorn. But leave the kids and pets alone. I have little patience with that.

I know what you mean. I have a few mmo's I play once in a while. It is a stress reliever to nuke away at some essence of evil, real or fictional. While I don't see myself galloping through the streets looking for evildoers to vanquish, it does leave me feeling dissatisfied. I know my temporary respite from the hell some innocents live through is just a distraction from what is really happening. I think one of the more frustrating parts is that if you want to help, to volunteer in some way, the only options are really after the fact. There isn't much to do until the evil has happened. Then you can help put the pieces back together, if you can stand to look at them in the first place without having your heart yanked out of your chest...

Me too! It takes a pretty evil mind to hurt an innocent. Gets my blood boiling every time I hear one of these stories. Makes me wonder if sub-human is more than just a word we use.

And Christians are despised because we want Christ return and end these horrors
Yes it's a disgusting world, can't pretend otherwise
Funny, we live in the better parts of it

You have a point. The part I see every day is nothing compared to the hell some people live in. We really have gone astray...

Stop signing on and engage with others vis-a-vis. Chat with neighbors. Help ring the bells for whatever holiday you celebrate. If you are not of faith, ring the bells for the sheer merriment of it!

If you look for caring, humanity, and acts of kindness and love...you will find them easily.

Adjust your own filter, resonance, and be that which you wish to see reflected in the world.

We are still very much here and Gaia is anxiously waiting for her children to remember to return.

Take a break once and a while from it all. Go fully off the grid for a while. If you don't have the amenities, ask a friend, go camping, or other but don't bring your media devices nor pay attention to any news.

SHAMELESS PLUG!

I feel you mate. But do you want uplifting? I'm a terrible writer of words sadly, but I have a few links at the bottom of this box.

Take a read of that first thread I wrote about Sophie. The thread is pretty old, but darn it, I'm always gonna leave it up because if you want to be inspired about humans, that thread is for you. I promise.

(My other threads are also non-negative ones if you need a break, but seriously - when I'm having a tough day I try and think about Sophie and it gets me through another day.

Its not just a matter of not logging on and looking at it. It is everywhere. My neighbor is out of her mind crazy right now because Trump won. Of course, her main sources of information are, The View and MSNBC. (gack) I can't talk to her any more because all I hear from her is how the US is going to explode in January. I try to explain to her that there are other more reputable and less biased sources for news than the two liberal outhouses she watches. She is so far gone she can't imagine how 'the ladies' could lie to her...

Welcome to my world.

Hey thought I'd add that abominable behavior is being shown from both sides--

There must be an inordinate number of sociopaths in the world.

Reading comments on Daily Mail about the fire which killed 24 (at least) young people and am sickened by how many were gloating at the deaths of "liberal snowflakes".

Disgusting.

I quoted something from the DM once and was immediately set upon by liberals who denounced the site and anything associated with it. So, your source is garbage and the alleged gloating never happened. The knife cuts both ways...

If you have used the source, well obviously you think it's valid, right?

These were comments at the bottom of the article anyway. Nothing to do with the rag.

The point was that many people here automatically dismiss anything on that website, comments included, simply because its the DM. In other words, when a conservative quotes the DM its all a bunch of b s. When a liberal quotes the DM its perfectly good information...

More seriously, the problem with comments is that it could be ten people with ten emails each. Its not unheard of for people to create multiple accounts to like their own comments and drive them to the top of the list. That is especially true for organized groups who employ hundreds of people for the purpose of presenting a biased attitude on behalf of the general population. That doesn't mean that none of those comments are real. But comments are vapor in terms of information solidity.
