Northrop Gruman's TERN concept promo video

NG just released a promo video for it's tail sitter, Navy based MALE platform. Look for this one in the skies around the SW desert in the coming years unless the Navy pull the plug on this UAS concept too.

So i wonder who actually owns/produced that video, NG or DARPA? I'm guessing DARPA since NG just released it today.

Bet they'll turn it into a tanker.

I really doubt that it would have any kind of meaningful payload as a tanker. I could see it packing some kind of AESA and loitering above strike groups. An extension of AEGIS as a node in the system would be fun as well. Could really extend the vision of the surface combatants targeting systems.
