www.indiatimes.com...

Using heavy artillery to target Pakistani border posts, the Indian army seeks revenge for its three slain soldiers today.....
The battle between these two seems destined to bring on nuclear war at some point.....
The justifications just keep piling up too....
The fresh beheading of an Indian trooper by Pak-border guards is not yet avenged .....
IMHO this is a likely point of future heavy conflict and with China on the Pak side....well , guess who will back India...

The situation is escalating slowly but surely....
I think it may be a very touchy situation for us all.....
All we need is for some" grand chessboard "players to weigh in.....
Though I wonder what effect this may have on the new silk road project....

Back in Nixon's day, in the time of the Bangladesh crisis, the Chinese-Pakistan friendship was balanced by a Russian-Indian friendship, which complicated things. I don't know if this is still the case.

Oh well, someone was going to start it sooner or later.

Perpetual war, we became immune to it, they needed to test their weapons in order to sell them across the globe.

Well, its pivotal to XI Jinpings silkroad. So china has a vested interest, however, how much they are willingly to commit will be interesting. They simply could refrain, pushing the silkroad on the backburner and waiting it out.
China has other areas they could probably focus on in the meantime.

Not quite, because India is Hindu. Both varieties of Muslim will presumably be against her.

India and Pakistan have been battling back and forth in the Himalayan region for decades.

I sincerely doubt either country is going nuclear over three dead soldiers.
Dead politicians might be another matter.

I am more concerned about the Indian currency recall and the effect it may have on their economy, not to mention social unrest in India.

I would not be surprised to see a limited nuclear exchange one day between those two. They were that close in the early 2000's.

Governments have gone to war to cover up economic distress before....
Perhaps the currency crisis may contribute to the nationalistic fervor too....it is something the people can get worked up over....

Not totally, there are many Sikhs, Buddhists and Christians living within India and they're tolerated.

In Pakistan, a predominantly Muslim country, they want to keep it that way.

To quarrel over a country that does not belong to either side officially is a criminal act. To displace and terrorise so many will always be the result of such actions.

Meh, no big deal. This has been going on for decades. Just another mess left us by the Brits when they undid their Empire, along with the Middle East, Somalia, Rhodesia/Zimbabwe.

Same crap, different day.
