The Republican presidential nominee told more than 7,000 people packed into a Las Vegas casino ballroom that he believes the FBI has recovered some of Clinton's 33,000 deleted emails.

FBI released this to let the American people know they posses the 33K emails?

Trump seems to think the FBI has some of the emails (mentioned 10/30.) Kim Dotcom is alluding that the FBI has the emails (posted on Twitter 11/1.) Could the FBI be in possession of these emails and not tell us? Thoughts?

Somebody has them. Look at these people. Oblivious about the importance of OPSEC and I'm not talking about classified info either. Just general conversations. Having copies in cars, in houses on thumb drives. Then a couple of private companies with their hands in it. Her most trusted employee is looking like the biggest dumbass of them all.

Sep. 23, 2015,
The FBI has been able to recover deleted emails from former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's personal server, a source close to the investigation told Bloomberg.

And intriguingly, agents sifting through the emails Clinton said were "personal" in nature have reportedly handed some over to investigators — indicating that they are relevant in at least some way to the FBI's ongoing investigation.

The FBI has had these emails all the time, even while Trump has been demanding them and asking Russia to find them. When the FBI released their report in July, absolving Hillary of intent, they were talking about the deleted emails.

I believe at least one file of emails on Huma's computer was labeled "Life Insurance." At least that is what is being reported. That doesn't sound like an accidental archive or a simple "synch" between computers. It sounds like Huma was well aware of the Clinton Body Count. Of course it also could have been intended for her handlers, since there is a good chance she's a Saudi agent. Her real mistake was losing control of that computer. I hope she can stay alive long enough to testify.

If it were not for this one issue I would have much less of a problem with Hillary. She is obviously very good at manipulating world leaders, probably the best to be honest. The whole pay for play thing, though illegal, is actually fairly intelligent if you need to raise a lot of cash in a short period of time to run for President. It's evil but you do what you have to do in life sometimes. I could not do it but anybody that cold and calculating you have to respect it. A lot of time, effort, resources went into the whole operation. Even her own child didn't know the gravity of what was going on. It's like a Bernie Madoff level of corruption but with no chance of going to jail. Everyone is in on it.

ON TV news this evening, they reported that there are reports that the FBI had found emails on Huma's laptop communicating with the Clinton server and that they are new ones that they have not seen before.
Thus - they are likely some that Clinton deleted.

They also said they are now also looking at the laptops of the other aides.
The others had immunity agreements and testified in exchange for the FBI destroying their laptops.
The FBI never destroyed them.
Part of the deals was that if anyone lied in testimony, the immunity was void.
Apparently they are saying that Huma lied, so all deals are off the table.
So, they can now access the laptops of the other aides.

Ok that is something right there. They are now paying the price for not coming clean. All immunity deals are now off the table. Could you image being Mills or Huma right now. So close to pay dirt and then the ground beneath you start turning into hot lava.

If I am understanding correctly. Hillary's entire email server was being backed up on Huma/Comey's shared computer.

If this is correct they have all the emails.

This could be a logical explanation why Huma doesn't know everything that is there.

Don't you mean Huma's. Not complaining probably just a typo.

I bet there were more than 33,000 emails deleted by Hillary anyway.
She probably deleted more like 150,000.

No.

Hillary's server was not being backed up by Huma.

They had an IT firm doing that.

These are extra copies that obviously people lied about.

The story that I heard was that Huma had her smartphone linked to the laptop, saving the emails on her laptop.

That would be a "synch" issue, but we're talking 650,000 emails. Those aren't just backups of Huma's email activity. That's the whole enchilada, and given that, it is intentional. That begs the question of who did it and what for, but this is no accidental duplication of a single person's email. And given that at least one of the email files, as reported, was named "Insurance File," that should give you some hint of what was at issue here.

Yeah.
650,000 email are a whole lot.
I wonder if some of them were Huma's and some were emails that Weiner collected from Epstein and the like.

I suspect that before they purged the server of the emails that they did not want others to see, they copied them someplace.
There were surely some of the purged emails that they wanted to keep for other reasons.
And who better to trust than Hillary's right-hand woman to hide them safely at her home and not tell anyone even if under FBI interrogation?
They were sure the FBI could never get to it, because the DOJ was never going to give them a search warrant.
Thus... pervy Weiner sting to the rescue.

Not technically backed up.

It looks like Humas computer was archiving all email activities on the server. It's possible she was only archiving her emails on the secondary device but that doesn't seem to explain 650,000 emails.

I could be wrong, but anything else would have required a physical copy on a USB drive, a lot of work or some other software to archive that many emails.

This also begs the question of who would and could do it. IMO Huma does not have the technical skills to back up a server. This is not trivial, and though we will get people on here claiming it is a simple matter of backing up this or that file, because its just a *.pst and all that, the fact is we don't even now what kind of server it is. I had originally thought it was a Microsoft Exchange unit, but have since seen sources who claimed it was Apple-based. In any case, it wasn't a simple *.pst file from a client Microsoft Outlook, and it wasn't a simple "synch" issue because face it, 650K is a boatload of email. It absolutely has to be the entire server. OK, so who did it? Either Huma did because she was given specific directions on how to do it, or it was done by a sysadmin level person who simply used her computer to do it.*

Now, if it was a sysadmin, I can see the issue. No IT person worth his salt ever backs up just to one source. You ALWAYS back up to multiple sources and multiple media types, e.g. tape, thumb drives, other hard disks. However, you also ALWAYS maintain control of your backups and have them on a rotating schedule. Given that, I'm thinking this backup was for a purpose other than system integrity. It was an "extra" to what? Save history? Provide to a foreign intelligence service? Save as an extra copy so Hillary could wrote a book?

Regardless, if Huma "did it," she had help, either by someone physically doing it for her, or by someone giving her very specific instructions. It wasn't accidental.

* This does NOT explain how a file could be called "Life Insurance."

It's a long shot but I'm curious if this scenario could fit in any way. Is it possible/probable that the FBI had her emails/server info/etc. and actually planted it on that laptop as part of a very intricate plan?
