Not a comment to you, but due to the late hour I will not search. One of the most racist statements I have ever heard was this, "Finally we will be united, all races". I swear I can't stand racism and I have often said to others to quit their racist remarks, but never have I been irked as by that statement.

There are many ways that statement can be interpreted, many possible contexts, Perspectives...
Your rather over the top interpretation just might be a 'projection' working itself out.
