"I think he's going to win ... Yes, of course I'm going to vote for him. He's going to run the country as a business. He's going to negotiate. And he knows how to make decisions." –Ivana Trump

In other word this person isn't nice but he can do a good job, and that's more important, it would be awesome if we could have it both ways.
But America just can't have a nice statesman win this, if it did; Ron Paul would be finishing his second term right now.

My sentiments exactly!! Who cares how nice he is? The real question is can he get the job done? I have seen many people with poor personality traits do great jobs. I have never had good results from known liars and cheaters.

That is bogus.

If he is not "nice" then he cannot do a good job, because what is needed is compassion, and all he knows is hatred, intolerance and greed. But whatever, justify his presidential candidacy any way you like. Does it even matter any more? So many people have been made stupid during the last election cycle in the states, that you have people out there who would be prepared to believe that up was down if told with enough flair, hypernationalist waffle, and marching music.

The hell with the lot of it.

If Kaine and Pence are any indication then Trump's judgement far exceeds Hillary's...

The VP debate was devastating for the democratic ticket..

Kaine behaved as a petulant child unable to follow rules.
This was not an exception...Kaine is consistently rude and unable to act like an adult..

Why would anyone pick such a fool as their running mate?

Look I don't like either of those fools
but Ivanka is still on the Trump gravy train
so I'd say her endorsement isn't all that telling.

Hypernationalist waffle?

First, people in the US weren't made stupid by the last election cycle; people in the US have been made stupid by the educational system.

Second, I don't know what's wrong with the Trumpsters, (of which I'm not one) wanting to try to choke off the flow of illegal aliens and unvetted refugees.

Finally, what's your beef with nationalism? You all up happy with what's happened to Britain? With Londonistan? Really?

It matters not if he's "nice" . Nice has zero to do with being POTUS...it is not a popularity contest. It's a decision that is made by voting AMERICANS. And when we do go into the voting booth just remember we're voting for the leader of AMERICA not the entire world. I'm gonna vote for who I think is best suited for the job...be-damned the niceness. I want a leader who puts AMERICA first...always. A leader who isn't afraid to make a damn decision, a leader who actually leads....versus a good teleprompter reader. I want a leader who has accomplished something in their lives versus all the dyed in the wool politicians who have been in politics since 2nd grade student council. Just remember in the voting booth......Your voting for the POTUS for America not the whole damn world.

You have some rational reason to place great faith in the ex-Mrs. Trump's political position?

Why?

We've had 8 years of "nice".

As a result, we have high unemployment, a third of our country on some sort of government aid, a laughingstock on the world stage.

That being said, both candidates aren't nice.

But only one is evil. (Hillary)

Ummm, is that your hatred and intolerance speaking?

Look at Trumps kids and grand kids, looks how he treats them. That's pure love.

There are so many stories of his generosity, so many stories of him hiring the the best person for the job.

if you choose to ignore the over whelming evidence to make your statement fit your opinion, then that's on you and your hatred and intolerance

Britain is fine, thank you for your concern that we are over run with Muslims but it's not true

We are a multicultural society, always have been

To the OP

She is the mother of some of his children and as mentioned above she is still on the gravy train of the non tax paying Trump company so her endorsement really does not come as a surprise

Whats my beef with nationalism?

Nationalism in this era seems to be a disease of ignorance. You tell a nationalist that his taxes helped pay for the funding, training and equipping of Osama Bin Ladens mob, and every terrorist outfit of note since his lot reared their heads, and a nationalist will lose their rag, tell you that you are a terrorist sympathiser, or just beat you until you remain silent, and stop bothering them with facts. If you tell a nationalist that the War On Terror was designed to gain western nations and their unofficial backers a whole heap of resources, make a huge amount of money for private companies who thrive on war, like arms manufacturers, aviation companies and the like, and if you tell them that their precious talking heads are promoting the enslavement of the entire nation, they will have you silenced or refuse to listen.

Nationalism in this day and age, is to have ones eyes shut. I am a patriot. I love my nation enough to know its errors and protest against them, not ignore them or deny they exist. Furthermore, my grandfathers fought fascists and racists to a stand still and saw them beaten in the forties, and frankly, whenever I see someone hate on someone elses religion, or colour, or ethnicity, I get a pretty good idea of why we won that war, that argument. Because our boys were right, and the Nazis were wrong. Period. I will always seek to honour the sacrifices made by the generations that came before mine, to ensure that people living in this country remain free of the fascist tendencies of the far right, or any bastard whose tune sounds the same.

So we should trust the judgement of someone who was taken in by a con man, cheated, mistreated, and dumped, and yet Still sings his praises.

Does the term"Stockholm syndrome" ring any bells?

She is very much on his payroll.

...She was the one who testified in court documents that Trump violently raped her against her will and kept a book of Hitler's speeches on his bedside.

If you find her credible, you should come to terms with that.

The daily mail and Chanel 4 covered the old trump wife case this year and as far as I'm aware trump has not sued them both:-/

I know it's trivial after the rape claim but Dirty Donald also pulled out chunks of her hair before raping her and when she left her spare bedroom the next morning he asked her "did it hurt"

Well we're going to give it to Hillary regardless. We really don't care if his ex wife supports him.
What's really funny is the value you put on her supporting the husband who cheated on her. But Hillary staying with the husband who cheated and not only supporting him but forgiving him and building a stronger marriage they were able to save makes her a bad person.
You're all #ing hypocrites that's for sure.

Plus...

If the guys on the verge of bankruptcy again she wants him to have a job so she can get alimony from him.

^ This. If her kids benefit, she benefits by default, so it's not like she doesn't have a vested interest or is totally impartial.
