“The root cause of this conflict in Syria ravaging the country is due to mainly speaking this imposed terrorist war on the Syrians, governments and people as well. And this imposed terrorist war is backed by the western countries as well as Turkey, Qatar, Saudi Arabia" al-Jaafari said.

He added that the US-led international coalition is not really engaged in battling terrorists like al-Nusra. “The American campaign called the international coalition… never targeted al-Nusra front for instance, never ever.”

Washington and its allies are "using al-Nusra front as a shield to protect what they call the armed moderate groups in Syria." That in return shows that the "American administration is not genuine and not serious about combating al-Nusra front terrorists, which is a terrorist entity according to the [UN] Security Council list." He also slammed Washington’s claims that “to do so is difficult” during the Russian and Syrian airstrikes as “hypocritical.”

Please take notice of the source. The article linked above is from RT. Whatever actual truth it contains is irrelevant to the fact that the story being told in the article is compatible with Russia's official story of what's going on. I feel like we may be on a countdown to WW3.

The United States is continuing to criticize Russia over Syria.

Mr Toner said the Russian allegations were "absurd". He told reporters that the US had not targeted al-Nusra for months because they had become "intermingled" with other groups and civilians.

He said a recent attack on an aid convoy, which the US blames on Russia, and renewed air strikes on Aleppo were driving moderate rebel groups closer to the extremists.

"What has happened now, with the hitting of the humanitarian convoy and with the subsequent siege on Aleppo, you've got a scenario now, a dynamic where, as these moderate opposition forces are under increasing pressure from the regime, that they are driven into the arms [of al-Nusra], and they have to fight side by side," he said.

I'm sure no one in their right mind wants WW3, but it looks like we may be just one provocation away from things going haywire.

Surely by now we all know the US has no intention to wipe out ISIS. We're talking about a country that can supposedly fly into a country unannounced to kick down the door of Bin Laden and every time we try to strike ISIS a dozen or so Doctors Without Borders are lost. Come on.... this has always been about the Iran-Iraq-Syria pipeline, where Syria is the pivot point for all of it.

Well there are obviously ppl whom want to have ww3, all of this BS war on terrorism etc wouldnt be if not so.
The difference and danger is that these ppl are very powerful within global leadership circles.

It is not government for the ppl by the ppl that is behind all of this and they does much more than build on war, they are building total control of countries populations and many of us knows about it, yet seems like we feel like theres nothing to do about it, so why would they ever stop, its on full steam, everybody is going along, after few ppl got silenced etc.

If you think about what was the purpose of UN and stuff like that and see how it actual is working today, that is great teller how bad the situation is and where its rolling.

Yeah getting Bin Laden only took a decade so your comparison is a bit off imo.

The US, Syria / Russia have both hit Hospitals.

I'll agree that it was a poor choice to use as example but the point here is the US has incredible intelligence and technology; Bombing those hospitals was no mistake.

I have been watching the threads on Syria, the pipeline , Russia Isis, the petrodollar and all and I agree. Dangerous situation. Scary thought,Trump has an itchy fingers wanting to use the nukes he is eager to nuke something, while Hillary is quite the hawk herself. Both candidates are warmongers. And there won't be any restraint concerning trump and his Russian buddies,Hillary has a taste for war too. This has me worried. Because how long until the blowback and rage from the US greed, blunders, covert bs and illegal activities comes to our shores, and either candidate lost in hubris leaves us unprepared to deal with an attack from Russia ,China or others allied with them doing assymetrical warfare over
here. Will we be able to take this mess on while the troops are all out in other countries? Just a thought.

Al-nusra commander interview by "journalist" todenhofer is just a scam created by the german BND. Todenhofer actually was in germany talking to some guy who dressed up more like an idiot then an al-nusra commander. The objective apparently is to shift blame on the US and away from European countries. Most of the terrorism in Syria is paid for by the EU. Almost all terrorist organization in Syria are fruit of EU policies that aims at spreading the muslim brotherhood ideology and oligarchy.

That is how it is supposed to be when it's state owned media.

And I am going to bet if it doesn't someone is getting a vacation at a state owned institution.

It is really something inexplicably sinister going on in the US policy on Syria. We all know and have exposed the basic contours of this US depraved policy: (Pipeline war and allegiance with Gulf states and Israel..etc.,) but it may be something even deeper and evil unidentified since the US is so blatantly obstinate and depraved on this issue.

Just listen to that crazy maniac at the UN, Samantha Power rave like a lunatic, lying, distorting history is amazing and so over the top it appears something very very sinister is going on we really don’t know about.

Look how Obama hides as if this isn't attached to him. How Kerry keeps allegedly making these peace deals that then come apart by the instigation of the US. How the US is double-dealing so much: Obama having one policy and the DOD having another

What the hell is going on?

People criticize RT as being state run

Fox...CNN...MSNBC on this issue are essentially US state run and also all the blogs except a few are in line with US policy against Syria.

What people never understand is that on issues that matter…not nonsense like this election or what Kim Kardasian is wearing, the US news media is totally under control of the US government.
