So it's no longer Obama's fault as has been put forward, ridiculously, but now the husband of the current candidate? Wish these guys would settle on one thing and not change it when it becomes more convenient. 2nd question. Bush had 8 years to head this off, if it was Bubba's fault, did he drop the ball?
And it seems Bush was warning about the problems with the mortgage systems.
Setting the Record Straight: Six Years of Unheeded Warnings for GSE Reform
So Bush sat on his hands for 7 years then. Got it.
Congress did, especially in 2007 and 2008.
Bush had no power to stop this by himself.

You do not need a conspiracy for greed. You just need to be greedy.
They are self-serving lawmakers who had access to information the rest of us do not normally have in regular channels. They repealed the law due to the efforts of lobbying which personally enriched all of them. That is not a complicated process requiring a conspiracy.

There were multiple attempts by the Republicans to reign in the damage done by the Community Reinvestment Act during W's tenure, but those scrappy obstructionist Democrats managed to filibuster and block every attempt. They called such attempts 'racist' or something else equally original.

I have never understood this notion of writing off a grander conspiracy because of simple "profit", the truth is that it is all about power, profit is simply a side show.

No, and EO wasn't possible to regulate banks and lending policies and mortgage backed securities.
Bush was powerless.
Sorry if I don't take your word on that. Let's see something on that.

So you are refusing to back up your words with a link? Credible, not a blog.
Not going on your off-topic binge.
