Russia Implicated in Shooting Down Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17

A Dutch-led investigation has concluded that the powerful surface-to-air missile system that was used to shoot down a Malaysia Airlines plane over Ukraine two years ago, killing all 298 on board, was trucked in from Russia at the request of Russian-backed separatists and returned to Russia the same night.

The report largely confirmed the already widely documented Russian government role not only in the deployment of the missile system, called a Buk, or SA-11, but the subsequent cover-up, which continues to this day.

Just a few days later, the United States government concluded that the plane had been brought down by a Russian-made surface-to-air missile launched from rebel-held territory and most likely provided by Russia to pro-Moscow separatists.

I searched a little bit about this flight and found out that maybe 100 of the world’s leading HIV/Aids researchers were on the flight MH17.

Not true. It was just six AIDS Conference attendees, only one of whom was confirmed as an AIDS researcher:

Early reports said 100 researchers had died, a figure sometimes given as precisely as 108 deaths. It was reported in every major news outlet, and from there, relayed to the world.

The figure was wrong — the number of confirmed dead who were heading to the conference was six, and while it’s possible further names will be released, it can’t get up to 100 or anywhere near that.

The Ukraine has those same missiles, this information only proves that the missiles were Russian made.

Presentation preliminary results criminal investigation MH17 28-09-2016

Based on the results of the criminal investigation it can be concluded that flight MH17 was shot down on 17 July 2014 by a missile of the 9M38 series, launched by a BUK-TELAR. This is consistent with the conclusions drawn by the OVV of 13 October 2015. The BUK-TELAR was brought in from the territory of the Russian Federation and subsequently also taken back to the Russian Federation.

Did you actually watch the presentation? They present information they the BUK launcher came from Russia. Stopped in separatist held territory. And then returned to Russia after the downing of MH17 with one less missile. I'd say that died more than just show the missile was Russian made.

What propaganda would that be? The propaganda where Russia claimed that a radar incapable of detecting a SAM didn't detect a SAM and thus Ukraine is responsible?

I couldn't find any link here to the presentation. Our militaries have some of the best CGI out there too, could we actually trust it.

Someone shot them down, but Being how involved the west is in stealing away the Ukraine, I can't believe any of their propaganda. West includes Europe in my interpretation here.

Nowhere in the information supplied does it say that Russia pulled the trigger anyway. The USA has provided some countries with missile defense systems, if those people shot the wrong plane down, the USA would never accept responsibility.

The film footage of the launcher "returning" to Russia was debunked long ago, being exposed as film taken much earlier than the shootdown but falsely presented by the Ukraine government as taken after this event.

Yet the criminal investigations have found evidence that the launcher not only came from Russia, it returned. I am sure the Flat Earth Society have debunked the fact that the earth is a sphere.

I've asked this elsewhere and have yet to receive a response. If Russia and/or their allies are so innocent why can't Russia keep a consistent story? They even contradicted their own claims this week. Why have they continued to put out misinformation and outright false information? Why did they veto the UN Tribunal that would've prosecuted the wrongdoers?

The West had been consistent on what happened since day one. Russia on the other hand have done nothing but deceive and deflect. That doesn't exactly sound like the actions of an innocent party.

How you determined which of the many BUK missile launchers in Ukraine actually fired The missile is... precious.

But again, more than a little suspicious the airline was cleared by Kiev through hostile airspace.

You really need to read reports.

The missile was a 9M38 series and that is only used by Russia. The evidence is detailed in the detailed in the preliminary criminal investigation, and the earlier Dutch Safety Board investigation. The criminal investigation has demonstrated evidence of a Russian launcher coming from Russia, firing a missile and going back to Russia, as per post above.

There is photographic evidence, physical evidence, witnesses evidence and communication evidence from Russians and separatists on the ground as the launcher came into Ukraine. was driven around, fired the missile and was returned. Just read the report. Listen to the recording and look at the photos.

I read on the Project Camelot site some months after it happened that yes the Russians shoot it down and they had to because because it had bio weapon on board and it was going to do a 911 type dive bomb on a Russian city.

Seems the first senior officer who got the scene said many of the bodies had been dead for a week or more and stank. He also said the bodies seemed to have blood on them. He knew they had been dead for a while because of they way their flesh burned differently than he flesh of the people who alive at the time it crashed.

but to be honest...the results of the investigation were known before it even launched. So, even if all this is true...there is an extensive conflict of interest by the commission that led the investigation...which makes this "report"...if nothing else, then biased.

If the conclusion was anything other then "Russia did it"...would it ever get out you think ? Just think about the possible consequences of it being anything other then "Russia".

That's enough for me to be cautious of any such report.
