Shhhhhh...

You're a babbling brook, constantly flowing,
A parrot that just keep going and going.
I tried to listen to you ... I really, really did,
Then I thought about interesting stuff instead.

I nodded my head at the appropriate time,
While I found asylum, in my subliminal mind,
Knowing your lips would never stop moving,
Not caring about the words you were spewing.

And you just kept going... carrying on and on,
I will you to go, leave my sight, just be gone!
But you won't go... so it seems I'm totally stuck,
Listening to the ramblings, of a mindless schmuck.
