The Thunderbolts Project is on the cutting edge when it comes to making theory match up-to-date observations rather than clinging to textbook explanations because they are accepted and protected by mainstream, entrenched, interests.

This new Space News does a good job of spelling out why mainstream solar physics needs to change.

Published on Sep 7, 2016

For the better part of a century, the scientific consensus has been that a nuclear reaction within the Sun causes the Sun’s light, heat, and radiation. But rather than confirming this model, modern space discovery has only provided seemingly endless riddles and anomalies. Nevertheless, today, institutional science gives no indication of its readiness to explore real theoretical alternatives in solar physics. . . .

The sun's temperature gradient belies the nuclear furnace model, but supports the electric sun model.

Is the Faint Young Sun Paradox one of the anomalies in solar physics you are talking about?

Interesting thread, thanks for putting it together for us

No, not in the slightest. EU "theory" is a load of bunk that people who don't care to understand actual science like to latch on to because they get bamboozled by all the sciencey sounding claims and drawn to the allure of being part of some sort of pseudo-intellectual elite who have a deeper insight into reality than those silly mainstream scientists.

Because we have thermometers on the sun's surface and earth's core,,,right ?

I agree with your posted statement.

I'm sticking with the nuclear fusion process for the sun or else the sun would not exist at all --- Because it's a "incredible balancing act where the fusion nuclear explosions want to blow the sun apart, but it's held together by the gravitational pull of the sun pushing inward."

That and the measured fact (measured by many detectors) that the sun produces lots and lots of neutrinos, there was a nobel prize given out last year for that work...

So ConnectDots... last time the EU people claimed they understood the sun better than the mainstream, they still couldn't give a good reason as to how you create neutrinos... like... at all, let alone with an flux and energy spectrum what we actual observe on the Earth.

There are five of a long list of mainstream solar physics anomalies which are explained by the electric model delineated on the Thunderbolts website:

a. Neutrino Variability. The Sun’s emission of neutrinos varies inversely with the sunspot cycle – the more sunspots there are, the fewer the neutrinos being emitted. In a nuclear furnace model of the Sun, the energy of the internal nuclear fusion, where the neutrinos would originate and from there be immediately expelled, is supposed to take 200,000 years to reach the surface (and only then affect the sunspot count). But for the electrical model, the decline of neutrinos with increasing sunspot number is expected, because more and larger sunspots must mean less “lightning” at the surface, and therefore fewer nuclear reactions there.

b. Solar atmosphere. The 1.4 million kilometre diameter Sun possesses strong gravity and its photosphere has a temperature of 5,800 degrees. From this we could deduce an atmospheric “skin” of a few thousand kilometres thick. However, what is found is that the atmosphere is some 100,000 kilometres thick, and at that height it heats up to a million degrees or more. This is not the behaviour of a 5,800-degree body radiating its own heat into space. However, it is very much the expected behaviour of a plasma electric discharge, with the Sun acting as an anode.

c. Differential rotation by latitude. If, as the standard model assumes, the solar wind carries rotational energy away from the Sun, the Sun should rotate more slowly at its equator than at higher latitudes, and, indeed, should have stopped spinning long ago. Yet it is observed that the Sun rotates faster at the equator than at higher latitudes. As understood by the electric model, however, the rotation of the Sun is driven by external electric currents. These couple strongly to the lower latitudes and drive the Sun’s rotation in a similar way to Michael Faraday’s homopolar electric motor.

d. Differential rotation by depth. Observations indicate that the surface of the Sun rotates more rapidly than the lower layers. This is as much an indication that the rotation of the Sun is driven externally as is the differential rotation by latitude.

e. Sunspots. There is a 22 year magnetic sunspot cycle, that cannot be explained by the standard model of the Sun. This cycle includes the switching over of the Sun’s magnetic field every 11 years. Sunspots have a strong magnetic field and tend to draw together while yet maintaining individual integrity.

I agree but the mainstream thought is that matter rules all, despite matter being mostly empty space and completely a side-effect of the electrical activity of the atom. In other words, the electrical activity of the atom is what prevents you from passing through matter without resistance. Yet, the material reductionists are still retarding contemporary thinking.

NASA said so - how could it be wrong?

You don't think believing everything that we're told from mainstream science is healthy and accurate?

Nothing to see here, they already found all the answers - now go watch your scheduled TV programming.

Yeah, except all the data available from the last 40 years of experimentation show minute variation that match the cycles expected, but they are not correlated in absolute time... ie... surface sunspot activity is related to the magnetic field configuration, as driven but seeing a high neutrino output from the sun, does not mean you have high sunspots on the surface.

What they claim is based upon ignoring reality and research, latching onto snippets of information and presenting them in a way that is full of confirmation bias. In fact lots in your post is factually incorrect in what it claims are the assumptions of the mainstream.

NASA landed on the Sun and took measurements.

They done it at night so it wouldn't get too hot.

That is a huge problem across all of science and technology — the rejection of dissenting views because of pressures brought to bear in the workplace and ego-defense.

It's no wonder things take so long to change.

It's pretty clear you've never been involved in any form of academic research, nor even bothered to follow and understand the publishing paper trail of any given scientific discipline. Hell, or even taken your scientific education beyond the level of a high-school dropout.

Look, I know that educating yourself on scientific subjects is hard work and takes some measure of personal discipline, but buying into the puffed up fake pseudo-intellectual elitism of junk science is a foolish and arrogant errand.

Learning is hard, but substituting it with easily digestible nonsense may make you feel smart but you're only cheating yourself.

Wake up call. Time to rethink everything we've been taught about our sun and standard model. There is more evidence for the ELECTRIC SUN over the Nuke Furnace MYTH.

Or rather, when cranks and quacks don't like the findings of science, they take on a persecution complex and invent conspiracy theories to avoid scientific scrutiny of their reality-divorced conclusions.

Why is this nonsense allowed in this forum? I was of the understanding that in this forum in particular, claims had to be substantiated with more than YouTube videos and wild conspirital conjecture.
