Pretty moving piece, and I am sure we are not in total agreement, but bet we could sit down and solve some issues. Our congress doesn't seem to be able to do that anymore, maybe it is time for all of them to go.

I've got to agree with that. Although I do see a lot wrong I also see a lot more good than bad. We just need to bring back jobs that we sent to other countries. The American dream has disappeared.

I tell you what...the best thing that could happen in the up coming election would be for voters to do a write in on one of the 3rd party folks....doesn't matter who.....the message to the RNC and DNC is what matters.

That would be a beginning to change.

I remember a time long ago when the soap box took a
back door to the inn. A lot of people, like minds or not:
stuck around a cracker barrel instead.. until a consensus
of public opinion was the destination. Unlike the 'popular
experts' pumped out pablum we get to take to the water
cooler now, I still like digging for myself most times.

If I'm sad about anything right now, it's how much of our
public opinion isn't even from original thought anymore.
This site is one of the few places left that's still salty and
keep most of us honest.
Anything else, and ya might as well turn the TV back on...

Should be term limits on house reps and senators as well as Supreme court justices.

SPecial interest groups should be outlawed.

I thought I made that clear in the OP but that's not it by any means.



I love that song like it was written on my heart.

We may not be the greatest country in the world.
But we do have the best anthem far and away.

Oh..I'm starting to "get it" now. The problem is, that due to physical limitations, I usually don't play videos in these ATS threads. I believe the National Anthem videos you posted, are what conveys the subject of this thread. Understood, Randyvs.
