super bowl.I love my country and that's why I will no longer stand. Instead,
I will sit and mourn for her. And if you truly loved her so will you.

You have to find Love, man. Why not find the positive aspects and ruminate on those instead of the negative?

Who cares if someone stands or sits? There's a heck of a lot more positive about this country than there is negative.

Have you been out there on the streets of america lately? I have.
I just spent the last six months going from towm to town. All up
and down the west coast. From Berdo to Spokane and back.
It's a damn shame.

I think everyone should boycott the national anthem at sporting events because it is only there for nefarious reasons, not true patriotism. It is only sung to help instill patriotism in young men with the aim of them eventually "serving the country". It functions as one of the many recruitment tools used as sporting events, that's all.

I took a 3000 mile road trip through New Mexico, Colorodo, Utah, Idaho, Montana and Wyoming a couple of months ago. Everything seemed pretty good except Santa Fe.

I was on foot for a lot of it. And while it's true I didn't see all of
evrything. I did see the homeless everywhere, all races. And I
talked to them. what had been done to them, some of
them veterans? No one in this country should have to sleep in
the street. And not have access to a clean shower and something to eat.
No one in this world.

I was eating popcorn at the start of last night's high school football game. The guy behind me tapped me on the shoulder and patted his hand on his heart twice to let me know that while the Anthem is playing, I should do like him... and not eat popcorn.

I saw a homeless man yesterday pushing a cart full of scrap metal and he was proud his cart was full........with a small american flag fixed on a stick riding high on the cart and though of that spoiled ass loser sitting down during the anthem.

I don't stand to acknowledge the "elite," I stand to honor the men and women who have sacrificed so that you have the "freedom" to dishonor their memory. People think that they're going to protest their way to victory, but I'll say that not only will you not convince me to side with you, but you will make me more resolute in my detest for your cause.

If people don't like this nation, they should have an option to leave on their own accord. Maybe Obama and company will negotiate with a third world nation to accommodate all those that hate my country.

If I'm ever at a sporting event where the athlete's are making more than I ever have & ever will, and I see another not stand for The Star Spangled Banner......then neither of us are gonna be able to watch it cause I'm probably gonna stir up some shat for the both of us. We BOTH will be asked to leave the property.

I'll pass. Haven't stood for it or recited it since elementary. Teachers scowled all they wanted then, and so can other adults now.

Also, I think it's a terrible melody all around. But if others want to get all obsessive over it, meh, whatever. I'm still not interested.
