The legal stuff from your parents and grand parents you aren't obliged to hold on to more than seven years I believe.
So unless you feel attached to it just chuck it.
All I have kept are marriage licenses and birth certificates because it has affectionate value.

hello wis..thanks..some of it does mean alot to me..but i have to get my mind in to saying i dont need it..i can just going to scan them that way they are gone and if for some reason i need them then i can just print it out..it would be so cool to be paper free..yes i am doing one box at a time..once i have things how i want them i will share a picture of all my coca cola stuff...i have alot of them..maybe...lol..i also have tons of polar bears as well..some one just keeps buying me them..but i so love them all..well hope you have a great night..we are going to get started watching a movie..just hope syx dont pick another dumb one...LOL...have a great night..

Yes it is. It's sad that personal attacks and cheap shots are now considered "debating". I also noticed how neither actually answer a question, not that the questions cover actual issues. What happened to this country when this is what we get?

I have often said that our Country has changed so much I barely recognize it anymore. I suppose it has changed a lot in other Countries as well. We live in scary and crazy times. That is why it is vital to me to embrace love, to share and receive love and light from people like those here in the shed and at ATS. People need more love and kindness, compassion and whatever to help them push forward and have a bit of balance in their lives. Just the late night musings of an elf here.

It is sad about the state of things, but these debates are no different then any other past political debates (anywhere). In fact if you think these are bad, take a look at transcripts of the Lincoln / Douglas debates. Or better yet look at the rhetoric thrown out by Jefferson and Madison, now there was some ugly politics. In fact, I would say it is a little more civilized nowadays since noone in Congress has to worry about duels or other congressmen wacking them over their heads with canes.

Indeed they do my friend. I often wonder if there is something in the water or food or air or something that is affecting some people. I mean there is so much insanity and violence and weirdness. I don't know.

I'm glad we have the safe zone of the shed where we can all come and be ourselves and be here for each other. We have an entire realm of wondrous things we can explore through stories, images and our imaginations. We can step away from the mundane and the chaos of the real world. Here we have magic, humor and friendship and it continues from shed to shed. We will always have this place and I am grateful for that.

It's cool. I'm trying to get a ride to take care of section 8, my license, and other stuff. The girls are getting used to things.

Sore (head to toe literally). I went to karate today and we did grappling, so now my whole body is sore and I have a bruised windpipe and strained toe.

Other than that I am doing great howsa bout your own self Night? Recovered from Autumnfest yet?

On another note, I am seriously considering taking a hiatus from ATS until say November 10th. I am soooo sick of all the political BS in here lately. And it is not like people want to talk about things, no they just want to give praise to their horse and criticize the other. I say Vote for Pete! (Ok, rant over). And I apologize to any horses that I may have just offended by comparing politicians to them.

Skid, that's cool. Things will all fall into place for you. I am so happy that you got away from that horrid place and the people there. You never talk about your Sweetie anymore. Are you still together???

JD, ignore the threads like that. I look for other type of threads. OR...make a thread on something that interests you. No need to leave the site entirely. Or, just bunker down here at the shed. Write stories and chat until some threads come up that you would enjoy.

We're still together. Her work hours got changed so we don't get to talk as much. I've been trying to help her out with resumes because she wants a better job.
