Bad day for Merkels CDU party takes a pounding at the polls

It looks like the beginning of the end for Merkel, and about time too, Exit polls show her party, the CDU has taken a pounding by only getting 20% of the vote, Beaten by The AFD party at second place and the SDF party in first place, personally i think she should have been removed long ago and put on trial for treason.

Yes, they seem to forget they're public servants.... The other day she was quoted at saying " she would do nothing differently" regarding her immigration policy, That is an extremely bad choice of words in the current climate.

I cant wait to see if she's changed her tune when she makes a statement on her defeat...

SDP and you know what that means? The equivalent of republican and democrat in the US have to form a coalition to reign. Again.

Don´t forget that this election was in EASTERN germany, Mecklenburg Vorpommern only.
That´s why the Nazi party AfD is strong like that.

But a sad thing is that "my fellow german citizens" did Merkel let come into power, before years. And that it needed a refugee crisis to open the eyes of the germans about that woman, but because of the wrong reasons. Before that, everybody was fine with what she did, or better did not for the german people. She could even say in public that we german citizens don´t have a right for "everlasting democracy", she changed what we called democracy and social market economy here to an "in line with the market democracy".
And got re-elected...

I mean, with a majority of people like this, it doesn´t even matter who is in power, you are surrounded by remote controlled little minds. Typical german little minds, startinng to wake up only if there is somebody foreign to hate, somebody not german.

Before the refugee situation those people even celebrated Merkel for doing selfies in the locker room with the german foorball national team. She could lie and lie, say this and do that, and she was loved and celebrated by the same people that now vote for nazi parties.

Weird place with weird people i live in!

With Ukraine close by and things looking worse every day ,its not hard to imagine there coming a different wave of refugees .I can't see the new rulers being much different other then what group they might be willing to let in until its gets to the point of not taking it anymore .

You have to wonder who comes up with the seating arrangements when these people get together . I wonder if Obama is looking at Merkel or past her :>) syrianperspective.com...

It's the problem with most modern politicians, they lack the spine, balance and common sense to make politics that actually work. She needs to go, and most the European politicians that are in line with her policies need to follow her. We need something new, and parties like AFD are not the solution, they are mostly a problem. Damn paradoxes.

France needs to build a wall across the german border and make Germany pay for it!
