Colin Powell and Hillary Clinton....I lost all respect for Colin Powell.

As stated in the documents released by the FBI today, devastating information for both Clinton and Powell.


Page 11 of part 1:

On Jan 23, 2009, Clinton contacted former Secretary of State Colin Powell email to inquire about his use of a Blackberry while he was SoS (2001-2005). In his email reply, Powell warned Clinton that if it became "public" that Clinton had a Blackberry, and she used it to "do business" "her emails could become "official records and subject to the law.".

Powell further advised Clinton, "Be very careful.I got around it by not saying much and not using systems that captured the data."

Well call me shocked.... I have lost all respect for Colin Powell. Prior to reading this FBI report, I thought he would make a great President. After today, I wouldn't vote for him to be a dogcatcher.

Do you understand what is being said here and the implications of that? Absolutely incredible.

And the kicker?

'Clinton indicated to the FBI that she understood Powell's comments to mean any work-related communications would be government records, and she stated Powell's comments did not factor into her decision to use a personal email account."


But but she keeps saying Powell told her to do it, but she told the FBI his advice was not a factor in her decision.


This is huge....... I can't believe what is in this report did not result in charges.

That is why these sorts of issues are handled internally within the specific departments and rarely end up in the courts. Certain things had to take place in order to indict.

The thing is Hillary Clinton told the FBI that Powells advice was NOT a factor in her decision to use a private email account.....

That is in direct contrast to her recent public statements.

In other words, she either lied to the FBI or to her voters.... your choice.

2001 - 2005 was a very different era. The use of the internet, emails, and phone technology was relatively new and I'm sure procedures and protocols were just being set up and tweaked.

During Hillary Clinton's tenure as SOS, all of this was ironed out and she should have been well aware of 2009 - 2013 protocols.

I lost it when he turned tale and voted for a man simply because of the color of his skin. That told me Powell is shallow and has no true integrity.

On July 2, the FBI interviewed Clinton. Clinton was aware that she was an OCA at State, however, she could not recall how often she used this authority (never) nor could she recall any training or guidance provided by State.

Clinton could not give an example of how the classification of a document was determined.

What's so astounding to me is how astounding any of this is to any adult of normal intelligence. The GOP has used the autopsy of the Clinton email server as a way to create endless propaganda for years now and it's worked well because people believe that Clinton is somehow unique among politicians because of the sensationalism.

The simple truth is that her behavior is perfectly in-line with that of not just Colin Powell and not just high ranking officials of the last few decades but those at all levels of government going all the way back.

Times goes by and people just remember the highlights from history they learn in school and people have absolutely no concept of the reality of mythicized "statesmen." A hundred yeras from now some of these clowns might have their mugs carved into the sides of mountains and future generations could very well revere them. Hell it doesn't even take that long. Look how many people all but worship Ronald Reagan.
