Create the story first

In a world without faith, much of everything relies on hope.
Where hope is no more, humanity seizes to exist.
You were there for a reason,
to fulfill a story and a purpose.

The path is already laid out, the story even further.
You have to understand, everybody has their role to play.
Most already foreseen your glory and its downfall.
You were no more than a pawn in a game you do not understand.

Many try, even more fail. Its not what you do,
its those who are willing to follow you,
who makes you into something different.
You failed to one of the mortal sins,
that is were your downfall started.

I know the throne is there for the taking,
but the one who sits on it above,
is just a mortal like most others.
He just like his simple dress,
instead for a scepter and the crown to bear.

Create a story first, then follow it through.
