How will you respond when all your friends that used to ridicule you begin chanting about aliens? You know they most likely won't believe until CNN says it is true.

Simple.

"I tried to tell you we were here but you wouldn't listen...now get in the 'to be eaten' line..."

I will react like this:

if I'm in a crowd of smart people who realize the dunces finally caught on....

and like this:

when I'm one on one with anyone who finally realizes that the Bible is a compilation of myths, lies, and poorly-written fan fiction --- that its only value now is to show us how slowly humanity evolves and comes to understand the truth. The Bible is not the truth.

Can someone explain to me how this post got sidetracked into a discussion on Christian dogma, demons and posting links to Christian literature? Oh, I get it....those of us who believe in the existence of extraterrestrial life and UFO's are selling our souls to the devil. After all, "UFO's are sent straight from hell." Thanks for trying to save us!

What you or anyone else believes about who and what these aliens would be are bound to be wrong. There's just too much we don't know.

If you investigate the full body of evidence that exists, (from now until 50,000 years ago), and I do mean investigate it fully, it's impossible for someone to walk away from it thinking aliens haven't visited us. And that's what the OP is pointing out I think. Some people recognized this a long time ago.

It's no different than the New World, Christopher Columbus was not named that. He never signed his name by that. He signed it in code, and if you want to know the true country he comes from (many speculations) you can find it in 2 papal Bulls written a few years after his first trip. They new the "New World" existed long before going there, they just needed a reason to discover it. No different than aliens today.
Good points and interesting perspective!

How will you respond when all your friends that used to ridicule you begin chanting about Jesus, the reality of Him, that aliens were all along just demons in disguise to fool the masses

So the problem with that is that the Churches literally used to rule by the 'word of god' and they controlled that world. Literally translations of the bible says nothing about any divine beings (although I think there reference to something beyond them), what we call gods, were scientists. And the oldest Masoretic Bible which is accepted by all 3 Abrahamic religions is written in a very basic, to the point, the 'gods' (not a single god) came and taught man how to live.

When you read the translations everything makes sense. You haven't put your faith in god, you put it in men, who spoke on gods behalf. You think they got it right? They purposely altered the words...

So what if I am wrong, I have lost nothing, Gods, the Trinity.

Thats only true if you assume that none of the other hundreds of religions are right, in which case you have lost.

from the op:

It should be pretty interesting seeing those who were brought up and forced into the belief of one God will now see multiple and understand that they are not Gods but just more advanced beings

Besides that, the OP reads like its from the viewpoint of a religious zealot. Just replace aliens with the second coming of JC. "How Will You Respond to People When They Come to Realization...That Jesus is their savior"

I certainly do not know anyone who would be running around in circles pulling out their hair and messing their shorts.

Uhh you sure about that? I've seen reactions like that when people see certain spiders, roaches, and moths.

Really? You have to put that on youtube. Most people I know just step on those things.

The idea that other life (including intelligent life) exists elsewhere in our incomprehensively vast universe has been a mainstream idea among both the science community and layman alike for several decades now. It has been a long long time since the idea of other life in the universe has been considered "crazy".

Heck, the Drake Equation is 55 years old. So mainstream science has been seriously considering the idea of intelligent life elsewhere for AT LEAST 55 years (and actually a lot longer than that).

For the average public, the idea that there was life elsewhere -- even in our own solar system, such as on Mars or the Moon -- was a commonly held belief for over 100 years.

...And as for God, I'm not a particularly religious person, but I can imagine how Judeo-Christian-Muslim doctrine could allow for God or other Supernatural Supreme Being who not only created Earth and its life, but also created the rest of the universe and the life that exists there. I mean, Why not? So a Christian, for example, could possibly continue with his or her beliefs even if intelligent life were found elsewhere. The Vatican has already indicated that Catholicism and "life elsewhere" are not mutually exclusive.

The bottom line is that most average people (even most people who would call themselves relatively religious) are pretty open to the idea of life elsewhere. The scientific community is definitely very open to the idea, and considers it a near certainty.

I think that if aliens really showed up, nobody would remember your opinion about it either way. So all the "I told you sos" won't mean anything. Nobody's going to give you a medal or name the aliens after you. All you'll get is a kind of smug satisfaction that you can suck on until it's dry or the day you die, whichever comes first.

You'd be surprised. Some of the "hardest" guys I've ever met have freaked out when a spider or slug got on them (though not roaches, ants, or wasps/bees/hornets). Though it's usually women who I've seen freak out over small creatures like those & mice (and snakes).

And since I have a theory that extra terrestrials or their craft are insect sized, I can imagine people freaking out over them too. Especially if they move like insects or maggots lol.

It's probably because of the last paragraph in the OP. I added the Quranic links in my 1st post specifically in response to it.

Perhaps that is a product of the difference between where I live and where you are. Most of the people I know locally, either simply do not care, or are curious about the possibilities presented by the presence of life other than our own in our universe.

I've had several occasions in front of friends that something unexplainable happened , so I provided real life proof at the same moment they were next to me..

Some opened their eyes , others still didn't want to believe it.. The ones who did find that it strange later on experienced this on their own and called me to say what they saw..

you do know god and aliens can exist at the same time?

Indeed, but wouldn't you classify a God as an alien? In my book they would be.

I'll feel the same way I did when I was in high school and suddenly all the #ers who bullied me in middle school for being a metal head goth kid suddenly decided they were metal head goth kids themselves. And when I point out their bull#, they'll say something along the lines of "I always believed, I was just waiting for proof before I voiced my opinion."

Not if the aliens have a religion of their own and if they are far advanced then us, then they will probably try and convert us to theirs since they might feel its also more advanced and feeling its more true then our own.. Not saying it will happen or it will be like that.

just saying

How did we react when first hearing about aliens? The channelers say that aliens are preparing now humans mentally for disclosure, but coming to their dreams, telepathically in visions in order to make the disclosure more easy for humans. Besides they are showing up more and more in physical reality also. Most of the people are already considering if there are aliens so it is probably quite natural process going on. I think disclosure will not happen suddenly by someone announcing there are aliens, but gradually. You may want to see something how people are experiencing their friends telling about aliens. ______beforeitsnews/space/2016/08/what-my-friends-tell-about-our-et-friends-and-the-nasties-2501617.html
