A Suspected Assassination Attempt On Angela Merkel Has Been Thwarted by Police In Prague

Czech officers stopped an armed man in a black 4x4 Mercedes as he tried to infiltrate the German Chancellor’s motorcade during her visit to Prague.

The Mercedes 4x4 approached Merkel’s motorcade as she travelled from the airport, near the outskirts of the city.

Czech police spokesperson Josef Bocan said: “The perpetrator has been detained.

“He is suspected of attempting to cause a crime – specifically an attempt to use violence against an official.”

Bocan said the man was trying to “run down police” during the incident.

The man only stopped when police said they were going to shoot
The driver refused to listen to police orders, only sopping and exiting the vehicle after police warned they were going to shoot.

Bocan added: "He tried to join the procession at all costs, cutting off a police vehicle that was trying to stop him. He only stopped and got out of the vehicle after police warned him that they were going to shoot.

What was the perp. armed with? Any more details on that? Must have been a nut case, a professional would have been in and out and not have had to worry about all that commotion.

Merkel has pissed a lot of people off. Now her handlers will provide her with more protection though, so she ain't sweating it

Handcuffs, teargas and a baseball bat. Definitly the tools to do the job..

Edit: There are different reports. T-Online.de reports "heavy things" like concrete blocks in the 4x4.

It was a nut case, unarmed and some blocks of concrete in his car. Wasn´t an "IS" terrorists, they use explosives, for good reasons. I bet that" Merkel Assassin" planned this since last year...

Let´s wait till they show us the "evidence" videos where "he" is driving with the same car on the same road, some days earlier...

Well, it makes sense to up the mass of your car to the level of the fully armored merkelmotive. If you mean business...
However, let´s ban concrete blocks! And make a list of them, where they were, to whom they talked and if they store enough food away...

Not only concrete blocks, but water, bags of cement and sand. But then that hoarding of water would become a problem...
