Well it's likely Manafort and Podesta are both dodgy characters, but any probe into affairs in the Ukraine will probably be a matter of who to believe and who not. Both recent and standing governments would be inclined towards corruption that's the way it is.
Both Clinton and Trump have affairs with Eastern bloc countries as well as Russia, while Trump is known to associate with low life criminals in his business dealings, and the Clintons with governments considered corrupt!
