She walks alone on a trail of gold,
Her mind sees love from the sky above.

The light she breathes in warms her soul,
At night the stars keep her warm.

Her trail leads to a self center for love,
She is lost on her journey.

One thing she knows is love will guide her on this path,
Seeing city lights is just the past.

All she has now are stars made of silver,
As she follows the new golden road of love she sees him.

All her memories of love brought her back to this new world,
As they softly run to hug each other she slipped away into her past...💔

That's all about my daughter. I was reading it while playing "Wish you were here" by Pink Floyd. I had a hot dog in one hand and the mouse in the other. I wasn't ready to cry.
