Spin magazine attempted the unbelievably difficult task of trying to rank the 318 officially released, non-bootleg tracks of the Smashing Pumpkins. I think the list is mostly terrible. I found it to be an entertaining read, though. Here are the top 20:

they had 'hummer' 37? That's why I hate these lists, they'll never be anything but someones opinion. These guys just happen to own a website like spin.

They do have “Rhinoceros” at 24, always liked that one.


But I think 'hummer' is in most fans top 20, if not top 10...


At least 'Drown' made it to the number 4 spot. One of my favorites...

This isn't even in the list?!?

Yeah that list is whacky.
How could 'Spaceboy' not be in the top 20?!?
And why is 'Try, Try, Try' IN the top 20?!? Lol.
Nothing from Zeitgeist should be in the top 100 either!
'Zero' is a rad song, but that should not be at #5.
I could go on and on and on.....
