Wait, the convention is still going?

I thought everybody would have been laughed off the air by now.

I wish I could just chalk this up as a win, but you can't turn your back on the left. Just ask Bernie.

Hope you lefties are ready for Trump.

I thought it started in about an hour - they haven'y called it off yet LOL

Wow, Bernie reduced the super delegates by nearly 500 for next time.

Because they know there will not be a next time.
Trump will seize permanent power and will become a cyborg and will reign over America for the next 150 years.

I would like to welcome our robot overlords!

Robot rights.

Robot rights!

I thought I heard the word "nomination", when Bernie finished speaking half an hour ago...watch this vine.

What does Bernie have up his sleeve?

Whoa!!! Good catch! I too heard "nomination" and if that vine got the wording right, things just got a lot more interesting!

~OkieDokie

Would like to know more about the context. Bernie has not dropped out or released his delegates, and he has stated he will allow a full roll call. But that's no secret so I don't understand Jane's comment.

There is no way there will be a floor fight - we might get some calling from the floor but it will be a brief moment.

Whatever dude.. your true colors are showing.

I've always been straightforward in my opinions.

Have a nice day and continue on with being just fine with corrupt politics and politicians.

I'm not voting in this election. I'm not ok with our choices.

For the last time, The Wasserman affair will have a lasting effect.... it is just more ammo in Trumps already huge supply of missiles to fire at the Clinton campaign.

Ok. I disagree. I don't think this is going to amount to votes being taken away from her. Bernie's actions and speech will have a bigger effect.

You remind me of the Hillary Campaign saying they believe the classified email scandal has been fully resolved. It is nothing more than wishful thinking.

I'm reminded of all that popcorn you saved up for Hillary's indictment referral day. How did that turn out?

No Sane individual could think she is warranted of the nomination.

That's a logical fallacy. I cannot argue against the illogical.

Here's an interesting little something to think about...Debbie Wasserman Schultz did not use an internal dnc.org email account like the others. She used gmail, hrtsleeve@gmail. So, we are really seeing only emails she was involved in with others who were using their dnc.org accounts.

I wonder what other DNC-business she conducted solely with the Hillary campaign.

And isn't it convenient that all of her DNC-business related emails were not hacked because they were on gmail?

I wonder what will come from all these leaks because that almost seems too lucky to be a coincidence to me.

Hell, it seems there's been more buzz surrounding that than the Cruz debacle

A)So much for a liberal media bias, huh?

B)Most people? How do you know what most people will think

A) When the majority of those liberal media outlets were implicated in the very scandal that caused this, they're going to at least try to put on the appearances that they're cutting ties

B) Have you ever read comment sections or social media? People are NOT happy right now, and some have already thrown their hats in for Stein or Johnson over this.

Thats how we know what people are thinking.

DNC PLATFORM: CLINTON NEVER MENTIONED

As the Democratic National Convention approaches, a look at the final Democratic platform by the numbers…the current nominee gets ZERO mentions.

Bwwwhahaaaaaa!

I read most of it.

Can't say I seen her mentioned by name, anyone else ?

"I'm not voting in this election. I'm not ok with our choices."

I am confused... for someone who has thousands of posts in political forums.... how do you possibly justify not voting because you do not like the candidates.... that is a total cop out.

VOTE... if all you have left is writing in the name of someone you believe is a good candidate...VOTE.

Choosing not to vote is ignorant,,, you have said yourself a few times, the only way to affect change is to vote.... yet now you say you are not voting because you are not happy.

I guess it is a case of the old.,.. do as I say...not as I do.

I'll be watching tonight on Fox... I watched the RNC convention on CNN. It's good to get the opposing view and of course have a laugh at the bias Fox have against the DNC and vice versa with CNN and the RNC.

Fox are playing the lack of unity pre convention very hard.

But NOW she stands with her BOSS....the woman who she has been working for all along!

Yes, and if she is this gung-ho Hillary, then obviously it follows that the campaign is where she needs to be, and where she should have been all along. Not the DNC chair.

I read it too.

It's very focused on identity politics and Trump does get quite a few mentions!

You know Fox did not show most of the speakers.

They only selected a few.

Was that the same on CNN?

Excellent response, but I have to question the "majority" aspect. Sounds like hyperbole to me.

Have you ever read comment sections or social media?

ATS is the only social media site I participate in. The opinions of those on FB and such are not indicative of "most people" by any means.

People are NOT happy right now, and some have already thrown their hats in for Stein or Johnson over this.

Some? Sure. That's reasonable. Most? I doubt it.

Thats how we know what people are thinking.

That's how you think you know what people are thinking. That does not necessarily reflect reality outside of your own social circle.

CNN missed a few at the RNC - I also have the live stream on that shows all the speeches and when there is some panel debate, if the current speech is boring, I switch to the panel discussion.

I wonder if the DNC is at all considering that contuining with Hillary will be a losing battle. Too many scandals, and now they are losing the Bernie people. They might fear what else will come from the DNC leak. And today Congress asked once again for investigation of the Clinton Foundation by FBI and IRS.

It would be interesting if they give up and dump her at the convention.

Some people would call that the ultimate trolling.

Since the sheer amount of political threads participated in.

As an American I am entitled to my opinion and a vote. I can do with both as I please.

VOTE... if all you have left is writing in the name of someone you believe is a good candidate...VOTE.

Choosing not to vote is ignorant,,, you have said yourself a few times, the only way to affect change is to vote.... yet now you say you are not voting because you are not happy.

There is not one person I would like to write in. I wish I could vote 'no confidence', but that option is not available.
