I love this movie, but it's a little hard to find.

Highly recommended!

I didn't think I would like this one, but I've watched it a few times now - and I'll watch it again. Destined to be a classic IMHO.

For different reasons, some mind candy, others just eye candy and others ear candy (yuk), others hopelessly romantic:

The Godfather films
Star Wars
Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil
My Dinner with Andre
one similar I can't recall the name of, but of an all day conversation along the sea shore
Gross Point Blank
Avatar
Nuts

Chicago
The Phantom of the Opera
Burlesque
Yentl
Moma Mia
Evita, but only the first 300 times

Whose Killing the Great Chefs of Europe?
Practical Magic
While You were Sleeping
The American President
Superman II
On a Clear Day

And yes, Somewhere in Time, sigh...

Oh, and Finding Nemo and the sequal, naturally

And recently, that new Ghost Busters with the women.

Fishy

Why am I wanting pop corn now?

Edit to copy cat:

Yes! Michael Clayton!

Yes! Enter the Dragon!

Not easy to pick because there are so many great movies but these are 3 of my top 10 list:

Based on a true story, young Gabrielle becomes a nun. She wants to be a nurse of tropical diseases in the Belgian Congo. Her path is strewn with obstacles!

A dazzling, brilliant and intriguing film that is my favorite sci-fi film:

And finally, the tragic romance of Rick and Ilsa, star-crossed lovers!

The King and I is a great film , Yul Brynner was brilliant as the King.

Probably not the best film ever made but I did like Westworld , mostly for Yul Brynner's menacing performance.

a reply to: awareness10 one year, the radio station asked what was the best film(i don't have any favorites) and I called thinking I would say, Holes with Sigourney Weaver, but spat out nervously... Whale Rider,

Another one, hard to watch was called Osama... about a young girl, getting by in Islamic world as a boy until she got her period and was sold to a pervert...I like this movie, because it opens ones eye's to the disgusting nature of the world and will make you very angry and wanting to make a change... not simply accepting of cultural differences...or it will make you just want to leave this planet... or become a missionary, like I once wished for.
