Forging the future

"What are you doing?" The boys mom asked a simple question, she saw her son playing with toys that were unfamiliar to her.. They looked like forged metal objects, wooden even stone.. Some sharp and some not.. "Son, You know when you jump down in limbo you can drift away in your thoughts.." Her son still looking with aw at the toys he was given as a gift. He turned to his mother and said;" The stars wants to know if i can make them a new shiny toy " and his mom replied;" What did you say? Her sons eyes lost all life, a soulless stare, the one came up from the slumber.. "

And a deep voice came from her sons mouth;" Everyone is staying, those who want to leave,will be banished " And her son held up a toy forged from metal..

His mother looked with a smile and said ;" Looking at you, the gift you bear, reminds me that we once were the metalworkers of the past who forged the future"
