Well I recommend Birdemic to start out with. You won't be disappointed. Let's just put it this way, the movie is so low budget that even after the movie's disaster occurs the main characters are pulled over on the side of the highway shooting at the sky while traffic is flowing past them like any normal day.

Will do -- And I can't wait!!! I'm laughing already just at your description.

Thanks mucho! This couldn't have come at a better time either... Hubby's been working long hours on a big job for the city with no cooling in this freaking 110+ degree heat. This will be a great way for him to relax a little and just have some fun. He really deserves it!

Glad to see it, I know the crew had been working towards it for a few years now. Glad to see it come to fruition. A network would have to be nuts to pass this up.

This was announced last month but no one bumped the thread, soooo we've got movie sign on April 14th!

The crowdfunded 14-episode revival season of Mystery Science Theater 3000, the '90s cult favorite about making fun of bad movies with your robot pals, will officially hit Netflix on April 14. The show's deal with Netflix was announced by series creator Joel Hodgson last summer, and Hodgson revealed the launch date to the project's Kickstarter backers early this morning. Production wrapped on the new season back in October, and in recent weeks, small groups of Kickstarter backers have gotten to see the premiere episode at a handful of "Red Carpet Kickstarter Screening" events.

It premiers today.

I hope Felicia Day, Patton Oswalt, Jonah Ray and the rest will pull it off.

Also, next season of Doctor Who and the spin-off series Class premiers tomorrow.

I know! I can't wait to get off of work today. I'm skipping out early today

I have to stay off of the mst3k subreddit all day too... Too many spoilers on there right now.

Love seeing a comment in an old MST3K thread. Thanks for the update. Easy to lose track.

I regret missing out on contributing to the Kickstarter now since one of the bonuses was getting Episodes 1 (Invaders From The Deep) and 2 (Revenge Of The Mysterons From Mars) of the local KTMA UHF tv station era which are like the holy grail of anyone collecting MST3K episodes.

I love Mystery Science Theater 3000 and have been watching reruns on TV.
Looking forward to the series making a comeback.

Thanks for the heads up. The one they have listed for Philadelphia, PA is actually in Glenside, PA which is a suburb of Philadelphia.

I'll have to see if I can make it.

I wonder what the Secret Surprise movie will be.

I'm catching up on the old episodes on Netflix before I go on to the rest of the new ones with Jonah.
