The bottle did call me,
Following a fortnight with its absence from my body,
Yet my soul called out to the Sea,
Called to take the bottle to sail.
A Siren sang without word or glimpse,
Sang with an eternal beauty,
Glowed through the night.
Her breasts rose with glorious winds,
Her lips sang inaudibly unto her matriarch and sibling.
Her form aroused me,
In me hate,
For her embrace once mine,
But no more.
Blood rushed from heart to head,
All these memories,
Lord,
Oh Lord my dread.
A bottle saved me,
From all tears,
Of alcohol and cheers.
Gazed upon her,
Lost my sight,
Once I loved her,
Thought I had her,
Lost her,
Oh my Lord,
Save me.
Gazed upon her,
Felt her near,
Oh so far,
These bloody tears!
This bottle,
My savior,
Sail!
To the Sea of my dreams.
