I finally joined this here circus!

I think I may hold the lurker record. Been coming here almost on a daily basis since late 2003 or early 2004. I've seen members come and go, seen arguments that would have ended in fistfights and tears, seen members pass away , and if memory serves correct, seen a marriage or two among members! No worries, I'm not one of those paid government shills (though I do wonder how much they get paid). I'm an aviation buff without a pilot's license....but will have one soon...very soon. I'm a book worm, a geography buff, a music nerd, an outer space junkie, a history student, a fisher of fish, a food recipe thief, a horror film fanatic, and I'm pretty good at watching American football! I am no stranger to pain and heartache because, after all, I am a Detroit Lions fan.... So cheers to you all and here's to meeting up with you in a thread down the road!
