I say no.
No man is created equal.
All men are created unique.
All individual beings are unique may be a better way of phrasing it.
No individual being is created equal.

I think the point is all human beings share certain equal rights to life, liberty, and property. It is not so much they are all born on an equal footing other than the ones established by basic human rights. The Magna Carta says a lot about this subject as I recall.

The problem comes in when the word "equal" is not defined properly.

Should all humans have the same rights and freedoms? Yes, they should.

Are we all born with value? Yes.

The same value? Not quite.

For example: Bill Gates' life is worth more than mine. My life is worth more than a toerag's...but only just

Sadly as a Cynical person there will never be equality among humans. There's still going to be people that will hate others for some reason due to race, class, religion etc

I guess you would have "all men are created unique in the Bill of Rights," and "a certain unique quality makes you a perfect fit for a slave then, right?" Therefore, if everyperson was created unique, if one group of people shared a unique quality, they are deemed one class or sect of people that are best fit for serving other unique people that are good at something else, like controlling another unique group of people.

All things being fair and without the hindrance of man made social constructs, we are created equal.

and yet even with our individual uniqueness, some are indeed created more equal than others.

No you all have it wrong...it is about the money. You got it you more equal...you don't got it you less equal. Everything else follows...doesn't matter your color, religion or country...it is all about the money.

Someone gets it. How is it so many of us still do not understand such a simple, yet profound concept as this? It is defined in the Declaration of Independence, right after... "All men are created equal"

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all Men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.”
