I passed by a shop earlier and saw that Star headline. Like my profile name, I really am still uncommitted on the vote (and when I've completely made my mind up, nobody outside the ballot box will know which box was ticked), but that was a terrible low even from a gutter rag to use that as a headline - but then, it's the Star, not sure who even buys it.

It's across the lot of them. Poll Toynbee in today's Grauniad was one of the worst.
The massive level of bull is beyond belief it's as if everyone from media moguls down to binmen has been struck stupid overnight.

To be fair, I made up my mind when I got on two wheels in the 80s and read about what made the EU tick.
Good luck to you trying to wade through all this rubbish before next week.

I know Toynbee is talking sh!te when her lips move or her eyes are open. I don't know what polaroids she has that ensure she has got a job for life with that paper but I do know they aren't ones I'd want to look at.

She fits in. She doesn't need to blackmail anyone. They are all scarily similar.

This was a case of someone with serious mental health issues who " snapped " in a grotesque fashion

Trying to make it into a conspiracy is way beyond the make. Let the woman's family grieve with respect.

Ok... if she is indeed dead... I am sorry for her family... the husband btw was in a boat on the Thames yesterday showing his support for remain in. Is this something you would do if your wife had just been kiled?

What are you talking about? You know they lived in a barge on the Thames for a lot of the year don't you?

Would you like a scraper to work a little harder at the bottom of that barrel?

Right. So he's going to go on the Thames in a speedboat shouting about staying in the EU when his wife has just been killed?

i don't think you understood.

What does his reaction to it have to do with anything though.

He is grieving, people grieve in different ways he might just want to keep working.

I fail to see how this could in anyway prove that this was some kind of false flag it proves nothing and like i said, your hypothesis has zero evidence to back it up.

I've seen it on the news yesterday and whatever the reason for her death was?

It's still sad MP or not.

I think you may not be looking at the way ruthless politicians will sacrifice lives both abroad and here in order tho get their own way. Cameron ha a lot of blood on his hands and we have the example of men like Dr Kelly's death to know that people die when inconvenient to whoever is in charge in this country.

The fact that Joe Cox was a Palestinian supporter and worked for the rights of Syrian refugees put her on the risk list. She was not seen as popular with either the Israeli intelligence services or the anti immigration camps.

It is debatable whether this man was a stooge for one of these causes or just an infuriated Brit who had had enough of seeing his country go down the pan with the do-gooders.

what is something we should all be thinking carefully about is that one of our politicians (albeit a low level one) was murdered and if there is cause to wonder if this was done by an outside agency? My gut feeling is that were this man a seriously fed up Brit he would have know to go for the party in power and a high up member of the tories. Also the timing is too close to the vote.

I don't accept the standard story - he was a nutter in any way shape or form, this is propaganda of some sort.

Derp. It's just not possible for there to be a right wing nut job capable of murder huh? Doesn't all the hype leading up to the vote (a vote in which does not have to be followed through on by the way) lend to the idea that the lunatic just couldn't snap from it? I can only imagine the rhetoric around ATS if it had been a Conservative MP or if the murderer had been a Muslim. You people (oh yes there's an applicable and appropriate you people here) are champion level deniers.

Why would you kill someone before the referendum and not after... if things didn't go your way?? If the vote was to remain IN then I could understand someone not liking it and shooting an MP but the votes havn't even begun.

Without a doubt it will affect the vote and without a doubt I question the timing of this incident.

Again though there is no evidence to suggest that there was any false flag behind this.

that is enough to debunk this entire thread.

Right now this is not a case like David Kelly, Diana or Garath williams where there was real reason to doubt the official story.

Very true what you said there... surely he would target someone higher up the chain or why not target 'Khan' the new Mayor of London? Especially if the guy was a right-wing nut.

Pretty much this. I for one don’t believe this has anything to do with swinging referendum votes, I highly doubt it could be predictable as to how people might change their minds. There’s clearly a disturbing motive to this - the guy at the very least has sympathies, possibly even association, with extreme fascist groups, while Jo had a tendency to support the victims of war in the Middle East - the two together don’t mix well and I know that only too well through personal experience. It is absolutely of my humble opinion that is it people like Mair who are of the real sleeper-cell types and whoever game him the call are the real terrorists.

The OP is right - this is too obvious. The links to the situation in Syria are there for all to see. And guess what? US Congress is again talking about another extensive bombing campaign! The timing of the referendum means nothing to me, but sudden talk of a renewed military offensive in Syria is just way too suspect for my likings.

Somebody’s throwing their toys out of the pram. Again.

As Solprotocol put, you were a day behind, that's what confused me, not me that misunderstood. Don't blame the media for you not checking when that event happened.

Mr Cox may well have been reminiscing, remembering the countless times he stood with his wife going by Whitehall down the river. I’m sure she’ll still be standing there with him as he does.

Ok, exactly what blood are you referring to with Cameron - be very specific, if Kelly was killed by government forces is in no way proven (interesting conspiracy though), but that would have been Blair and frankly I don't think he would have agreed to it.

Seeing as Cameron actually went with Jo Cox to the Sudan (as it was at the time) to pledge support there, why would she be 'at risk'? You know Cameron has made clear the point for Syrian refugees to be supported and that the UK is one of the largest global aid suppliers to camps for Syrians - you do know that don't you?

Personally I think the killer was a troubled individual who knew his local MP backed remain and was relatively well known for her support of all people facing crisis through turmoil in their country and associated that somehow with not being supportive of whatever he wants. Sad for him, completely tragic for the family of Mrs Cox, but that is the horrible world we live in. At least in the UK it's extremely rare.

I don't want to accuse you of.................... never mind. The MP was the killers local MP, like within either walking distance or a very short drive from where she held her constituency surgery - she was also known for her work for people in Syria, Sudan and basically global slavery. Keep digging though.
