It is real, it is a sqid, because Scott C Waring saw a sqid in it.

The only one man on earth who has nothing to do with pareidolia, demonstrable

And it is reported on all the other useless clickbait pages like Disclose.tv, so it must be a giant squid, and can´t be a rock...

Apparently first sighted by a Japanese whale research ship, the Ningen taken for a submarine until the crew got a closer look.

Eyewitnesses describe them as having a human-like shape, often with legs, arms, and even five-fingered hands. Sometimes they are described as having fins or a large mermaid-like tail instead of legs. The only visible facial features are the eyes and mouth.

Humans come up with the weirdest stuff, in Japan doubley so. Bless them for continually making our lives interesting.

They're just in search of something new to chow down on.

Why thank you... yup, that's it.

Reminds me of something my wise mother said as she walked by the tv playing an old Godzilla flick... "The Japanese really seem to have access to better drugs than we do."

Intriguing, for certain, but hard to be sure just what we are seeing there! I agree; it does look sort of like a huge squid or something, coming out of the water. Definitely looks like water in motion.

It's a "Skin Ship"...

...apparently some sort of mobile, oceanic Flesh Interface.

to say the least "too much Bs not enough fact" is this a night shoot , low res, thermal differently low res as i have seen other sat shoots where you can make out faces just to many what ifs

Looks like a plain ole ship to me.
Lights on front and back with a plume of smoke emanating from the middle.

The pointy ends of the silhoutte give it away.

I would say its a whaling ship at night illegally hunting and churning water.

Just a skeptical guess from a believer of many things.

The "Big bloop" , we found it !

Seriously though this is extremely interesting. It does not look like a ship whatsoever and neither does it look like rock to me plus i am fairly certain we would have know about a rock formation there and coupled with the huge area of water being disturbed one has to wonder. Highly curious if imo.

Here's a nautical chart of Deception Island. The rock can be seen to the southwest.

Here's imagery from Google Earth dated from 2005.

Not sure what's going on, possibly another Google glitch involving a low resolution image. In any case, the newer imagery shows the rock very well (and the correct size).

No guess on what the image above might be?

Lotsa lighting without lotsa explanation..

Whatever it is, the visible footprint at night is baffling

Or am i confused regarding the op.
