Best Day in Donald Trumps Life!

It just came to my attention that today was the best day of Donald Trumps life, because it may have been the day that secured him the presidency. And I think this begs the question, why? That's actually the question I've been asking. Why Trump? Not how Trump, but why... From where does Trump come? I think he's born, ultimately, of fear and fear's brother, anger. These are the things upon which such a person is based, is foundational.

I know some want to compare Trump with Hitler, and I find that tremendously unfair, because Hitler was actually very smart, and eloquent. Now make no mistake, he was evil, I'm not saying anything even remotely endorsing Hitler, God forbid, but I think it's a profound statement that one can say upon such a comparison, Trump, you're no Hitler.

And so today 50 poor people were killed, and the dumb bastard who did it may have done more to bring down America then he could have ever known, because today was the best day of Donald Trump's life...the day that fear was cemented into anger in America, and reason was done.

I don't think this is going to be the last event.

No...you've stated an unfortunate truth. I was just watching some discussion on our nuclear arsenal. Apparently, there are some who want to put 1 trillion (yes, trillion, with a T), into updating our nuclear arsenal. Certainly we need some, but that's perhaps another discussion. But I was sort of chuckling inside because they were talking about Obama and his desire/intent to rid the world of nuclear weapons, and I just thought...are you kidding me. Who is going to stuff that genie back into the bottle? It's naïve. As is the notion of the stoppage of those who would exercise the arrogance of murder in order to create terror. The world is infected by a cancer.

Calling this the 'Best Day' in Trumps life is disgusting and disingenuous. I don't think this event will help him one bit, but it will lead to the further erosion of our freedoms and liberties...many of these overreaches will be coming at us from Republicans and the right as they trade our liberties for security.

I am disgusted with all of it and with this OP.

I have to disagree with the nuclear suggestion you made. Nukes are never the answer. The fallout after the initial mass killing is devastating and barbatic.

Two main reasons. The first being that obviously very many innocent people would lose their lives from such an event. And the fallout could cause widespread birth defects for future generations.

Secondly, I'm convinced that if the U.S. or Nato wanted any individual on this entire planet dead (or any specific groups), It could be done with no sweat. Aside from our military black budget and all of our weapon technology that's hidden from the public, American citizens comprise the majority of the world's population that thinks we actually struggled to hunt down both Bin Laden and Sadaam. And if you feel either one of them died in the ways we've been told, then I can't recognize your argument as valid.

The whole day is disgusting, but it certainly is not disingenuous. This is part of the problem, my post was about math. This happened, now this will happen. Simple. And I'm not wrong.

I don't either....I feel this is the beginning of something far worse.. Even aside from islamic extremism and the lefts refusal to address the real issue..We have a society that has gone bat #e crazy over the last decade.

We have a deeply divided nation like never before. The left is showing their intolerance more and more each day. They hate whites, they hate christians and they hate anyone who disagrees with them. Labels like racist, bigots, homophobes, mysogynist etc etc to anyone who disagrees with a liberal. It's out of control. I have witnessed dogpiling of anyone on social media who disagrees with liberal ideals. People really close to me being divided.

My own mother can't even 'like' pro trump posts on fb without being dogpiled. The world is going insane. Its getting so bad that being proud of our fore fathers or displaying the flag is offensive. Supporting the idea of being a COUNTRY with borders is offensive, it is really out of control. We will not have a country if this continues. The best scenario is the nation literally splitting and mass migrants of people within America moving to new, established areas etc...

What I am saying may sound like crazy talk, but civil war is inevitable unless people start growing some common sense, and FAST.
