I wonder if there was an ISIS Sleeper cell that was supposed to target something in Florida and now because of this kid they can't proceed?

Maybe the kid wasn't in the plan....

Well, we live in what is becoming a police state, and yet how many terrorists has the TSA apprehended? The CIA? The NSA?

From my La-Z-Boy, it looks like the Patriot Act is a huge, expensive failure.

Anyone have evidence to the contrary?

So the apologists were wrong. It wasn't a domestic hate crime.

"registered in the Florida Democrat Party"

Not surprising

Reports are coming in the FBI knew he wan an ISIS sympathizer and was on their watch lists. Boy, we've heard this story before and I bet when they take heat for this their only solution will be to strip away more American rights and privacy.

And the fictional war on terrorism continues to support a Big Brother agenda.

Have you seen any MSM sources pick this up yet?

What specifically? The hit list? I don't follow MSM because of their dubious agenda in support of this administration. However, I've seen the hit list mentioned in many other sources such as the Wall Street Journal. The list exists. The question is whether it is legit or just a scare tactic.

+1

They have always gotten warnings and yet the Black Hats succeed in attacking us.

I'd like to know what agenda is being fulfilled here.

What agenda? The one where gov't gets more control. The agenda where our American rights are being eroded away. Power and control.

if one or more of the people on that list were at the nightclub that was attacked, what then?
Who gets in trouble for that?
What does our government, or ABC agencies do?

I really hope the two were not related.

Well 3000 were killed on 9/11 with advanced notice and all I saw was Promotions and Medals....something wrong with this picture, no?

I can't officially comment on that.... However, I can post something I observed publicly. I was heading through an airport on a business trip. I saw a foreign Muslim man traveling with his wife and infant child. She was dressed in a complete burka. Couldn't even see her eyes. She was holding the baby. TSA was trying to talk to her and the man was getting really agitated because he didn't want another male talking to his wife. Within minutes, several Officers pulled them out of line and scurried them back to a secured room.

Maybe this was something, maybe not. Who knows.... But whatever it was, they took it seriously.

Personally, I think it's something bigger than that. I don't know what though.

So basically: "be afraid, be VERY afraid"!

Fear is the greatest motivating factor in people giving their rights away.

Stop with the fear mongering.

It's almost like people have to compromise on their political choices because there's not a 100% perfect candidate for everyone

It's not like there's any democrat OR republican that would satisfy a terrorist's desire to kill people. There is a party that makes it easier for terrorists to do their job, though.
