oooops, sorry my Husband distracted me and I hit enter when I wasn't ready with my story. Give me some time here. LOL

Been working alot. Not much going on around here.

It's been very quiet here. I guess the weather being nice, has everyone doing outdoor stuff.

I am going to eat tonight and go to bed.

They started arriving early, people, beings and creatures of the Shedlands gathering together to speak of the impending doom, of the return of the evil ghost twin of Treewolf and Ghost ships and...
Night Star stood at the gathering beside Garren the forest boy, Jojopo the goblin, Wolf the white wolf, Hugo the black wildcat with rainbow colored wings and Pesky the pixie. She had come home to the shed, but some of the other's who resided there had left, perhaps returning briefly then traveling on to other places exploring and having other journeys. She could feel the presence of Syx flying overhead with her dragons Storm and Sky.

This was so soon after the last trying battle. Night Star didn't know if she had it in her to face another battle. She was weary and weak. With tiny hands upon tiny hips, Pesky flew to the top of a glass table. "What are we going to do now? we just finished a huge battle against the evil witch and now this! Do you believe it? No peace at all? No harmony within the lands? I don't like this one bit Night! How do you destroy evil???" Night gazed into the distance, "You don't." answered the elf. "What do you mean, you don't? We always have!" Night sighed. "Not completely, not forever." Hugo lay across the moss covered ground. "She's right Pesky, there will always be battles to be fought and choices to be made. We can choose to hide away, or we can continue to battle for the side of goodness and light. No one can make that choice for you."

By nightfall, she could see the elves returning. Wolf put his front paws on to Night's lap. "You are weary, I know this. You are weak and I know that too. I know of a secret cave where you would be safe and can rest. We will fight beside the others." She held the wolf close, tears streaming down her face and sobbed. "I don't want to do this Wolf, I can't do this anymore. I am so tired, but neither can I hide away while others are fighting such a hard battle." Garren and Jojopo were silent and gave the beautiful elf her space.

Thats one of my favorite things to do here. Sit in the boat and watch the sun set.

In the summer month's up here it doesn't set until after 9pm. Kinda cool.

Good morning everyone


I made cupcakes last night, because I'm a lady and I needed sugar RIGHT THEN AND THERE!!!! lol. I don't have any icing sugar or anything, so, they're just plain vanilla cupcakes with nothing interesting on top. But. They're yummy. And my son is actually devouring them. So, woo! (He's in that phase where I'm lucky if he eats half a sandwich a day, annoying.)

I have no plans for today, we've got a severe rain warning and such, and even though the News is harping on and on about how we're supposed to experience "the smashing of the coast like never before!" I've experienced nothing but a bit of wind and rain. *shrug* either way, inside day! And might write later.

I started writing a little poem the other day, but I don't know how to finish it, especially now that I've read the last page of this thread... But, here it is in it's unfinished glory.


She peeked to the left, and then peeked to the right.
What was going on? There was no one in sight!
She slowly stepped inside, one foot before the other.
Kneeling by the couch, she blew some dust from the cover.
Apparently no one had been here, not for many moons!
Even the pixies lay dormant, sleeping snug in their cocoons.
She tiptoed back outside, as silent as she could be.
Sighing, disheartened, she gazed at the nearby tree.
Curiously, the remains of a faerie party lay bare.
Tiny furniture lay scattered, little chairs here and little chairs there.
She crept ever closer, this riddle would be set right.
As she bent down lower, a loud crash caused her great fright!
She quickly jumped up, and hastily span around.
Towering tall and bright red, a dragon had landed upon the ground.
Appearing quite out of breath, smoke steamed from his nose.
Taken quite aback, she wiped his ash from her clothes.
In grunts and rasps, his voice boomed with a plea.
“Hark, Magister Kaelci! Leave this reverie!
People have gone missing, I’m sure that you’ve noticed.
Climb up on my back, and keep your eyes focused.

I know that I haven't written in a long time and I feel terrible.

Lots going on and my inspiration is hidden somewhere in the bottom of that closet that I've been avoiding cleaning out!

I feel a spark, somewhere, in the back of my mind. A slight twinge of a notion.

We are going hiking tomorrow at Fall Creek Falls and that (hiking in the woods) usually gets my juices flowing.

It's very beautiful and magical and full of warm memories. I hope everyone is having a fantastic night!

OMG, what mail did I miss??????? My e-mail sometimes is delayed. I didn't see one in here from you, but got some others.


Quantum too had mail. I think our mailmen are on strike in here or over the internet. LOL


That place looks amazing! Don't apologize for not writing. I get writer's block sometimes and finally kept a noteback of where the heck my last story entry was. LOL. Ok, catching up in here now.
