Pick any hard berry fruit, cherries, plums, damsons, mash them up, pour the cheap stuff over them and put in a glass container for a couple of days. Strain out the bits and you wont even think it's cheap vodka.
You can always do this to gin or white rum. Totally different drink.

Desperate times, call for desperate measures and some of the best ideas come out during desperate times.

I don't know what good and ready's are, so I cannot relate to any of the flavour except cheap vodka.

I can relate to that just fine.

Meh. Just be a real alcoholic and add orange juice to it to get a screwdriver.

Now I can taste it.

But yeah as Misterlondon has suggested, that paint stripper sold as vodka will destroy your insides and you will be forced to live off of Omeprazole, which destroys kidneys, if you have any left.

Those good 'n plenty's are powerful!

I advise doing yourself a favor and don't buy the cheap stuff. Well, I drink inexpensive at times but if you're wanting to drink it straight IMO the subtle differences of the filtering makes a world of difference.

There's a polish vodka, can't remember the name. Best one I ever tasted!

Loved the everclear and rubbing alcohol when I was younger but, I had different agendas then too.

I think it might be fun to take a good quality dark chocolate and put it in the vodka. Let it sit for maybe a few days to a week, then strain it and drink up.

I would try it!

Take seven lemons and make strips from the peel add to a bottle of vodka. (Use a vegetable peeler to get the peel without the white pith) Take juice from the lemons add equal amount of water and sugar about one cup each . Boil until the sugar melts. Cool completely. Add to the vodka and put away for a week.strain and serve chilled.

It's a very very strong anise flavor. Like Anisette or Uzo.

You could always run that cheap vodka a few times through a carbon filter, essentially making it high-end vodka.

That's really the only difference between cheap and expensive vodka, how many times it was filtered.

Our go-to for Vodka was soaking Skittles in them, all different colors and flavors available and it really does make it a sweet drink

Well you are a better man than me. I can't stand the taste of vodka enough to take it straight.
