I asked a question, you came along. So? What's up? What's your take on it? Just a few sentences would be of great help for me. Still too much to ask for?

The amount of time you spent replying to me being curt you could have already been threw the Opening Post giving you a much better idea than me parroting it for you.

Click a link and spend as much time as your busy schedule allows or don't. Either way I can care less.

Then, why even taking the effort to come here anyway?

Edit: A few sentences would have made a big difference. Now you just look as if you troll my OP.

I gave you three links, which give a broad overview of the subject, at a scholarly level, with as little bias as possible. Except the last one, which doesn't really exist without bias, as bias-against-the-state-vector is foundational to the notion of anarcho-capitalism, for lots of interesting reasons.

They took me longer to post than they would to read, by the way.

Best of luck.

Irfan Habib is a marxist

Asking him about capitalism is like asking about people from the kkk.

Could you elaborate on why and by what kind of standard you compare Irfan Habib with the kkk, who are a male-club of so called white-supreme advocators, as far as I'm informed?

Why do you compare the kkk with someone like Irfan Habib? Is he also a bloody racist in your eyes? And if so, why do you think so? For what reasons?

Thanks in advance.

The kkk has killed thousands using their failed ideology

Marxists have killed TENS OF MILLIONS using their failed ideology

In my perspective they are just the same, comming under different names.

That's called: divide and conquer...in the name of artifical hierarchies.

I'm no expert but i'm curious as well.

Where did capitalism come from? I would hazard a guess and say the Roman Empire. When I think of Treasuries and currencies, I immediately think of the Romans.

I'm by no means an expert either. That's why I asked for experts to teach and educate me. But what I researched so far, it makes perfect sense to me that it probably came (to a certain degree) from India and its cast-system.

That's why I was wondering if anybody could elaborate on Irfan Habib's thesis, I don't even know much about, yet.

But as far as this OP goes, nobody can elaborate on what he had (or has) to say, summing it up briefly. Unfortunately.

You can start here at wiki....

History of Capitalism

But the sources are thin on the Marx definition(s) as well as Fabian Socialism.

"Divide and conquer" ? A throwaway excuse to whitewash marxism ?

Discernment ?

So North Korea or the Khmer in your opinion are no worse than say Adam Smith ?

Murdering millions of your own population clearly invalidates marxism, an unparalleled failure in the history of humanity.

Good luck

I prefer to get to know what your take on it is, since you replied to my question. And? What's your opinion?

I did not come up with a thesis here. I asked a question. It's your turn to either tell me your take on it or just stay away from here, because I don't even remotely refered anything like "North Korea", "Khmer", or Adam Smith. Where did I came up with any kind of explaination, other than the mere guess the history of capitalism might also maybe has its roots in the indian cast-system.

You either give some explaination on what I asked for, or you better stay away from here. No claim was made by me.

Well you asked for historical accounts.

Now all-of-a-sudden it's about opinions ?

How many carts do you want to pull with one mule?

Get the history straightened out and then pick a starting point that relates to modern times and then we can get into opinions and philosophies.

Since when is history considered as a hard science? Like, for example dental-medicine is? Dental-medicine works allways all the time, if properly applied by an expert and it almost never fails. Nobody doubts that.

History, compared to dental-medicine, is just this: An attempt to come up with explainations of what might have happened in the past. And trying to provide evidence for what ever claims are been made.

Big difference! One kind of (accurat) science works all the time, in the real world, the other one just assumes something, based on some sort of evidence. Can we, at least, agree on that being the case?
