Hi everyone,

It's great to meet you. *wave* I'm from Australia. I work as a writer, but I'm also a stay-at-home mother. I signed up for ATS because I've been lurking and enjoying the interesting conversations. I'd like to join in a few conversations as well.

Hi Sublimecraft,

Star Wars, definitely. But not movies like The Phantom Menace. I love the one recently released as it has the original Star Wars feel to it. Star Trek bored me. Sometimes, I'm fickle that way, going against what's popular. Oh, and I also have a son called Luke.

Favourite Aussie movie: Mmm . . . Rabbit Proof Fence.

Favourite book: I can't choose just one. I've read so many. The ones that have changed my life have been mostly non-fiction. Probably Conversations with God, and the Power of the Subconscious Mind by Joseph Murphy.

I think I'll read most of the threads, but probably only join in on conversations where I feel like I can contribute something. I'm interested in lots of things, and I read voraciously. I did post in paranormal, though, and you will know far more about me after reading that!

I loved Crocodile Dundee! And the Castle is great, too. Love how he gushes over his wife's cooking.
