This is pathetic. The christian church is the most persecuted minority in the world and you find a way to concoct an unsubstantiated terror threat?

Here's is a pop quiz for you moral geniuses on a crusade to stamp out christianity and replace it with atheism. (The most murderous cult in world history.)

So, when you meet (in fight Jihad in Allah's Cause), those who disbelieve smite at their necks till when you have killed and wounded many of them, then bind a bond firmly (on them, i.e. take them as captives)..

I know it must be hard to figure out. While Allah collects bombs and AK-47s christians are building hospitals and orphanages. But clearly you have the moral high ground. Root out those evil christians just like Stalin and Muhammed did in their days.

Oh the Christian Church is the most persecuted minority in the world? So 2.2 Billion adherents is a minority now? There are a number of Christian terror groups. The KKK, the Process church, IRA, etc They don't make the rest of the religious group terrorists, any more than every German is a National socialist.

There are a great many actual minorities being persecuted far more .Take a walk in Africa, in the hot zones, or at the edges of Islam, talk to any actual minority religions first.

The Quran has some peaceful verses in it, too:

"The good deed and the evil deed are not alike. Repel the evil deed with one which is better, then lo! he, between whom and thee there was enmity (will become) as though he was a bosom friend." - Quran 41:34

That verse sounds pretty similar to these verses which Jesus said in The Gospel:

"Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;" - Matthew 5:43-44

Most catholics are in name only by virtue of birth. They do not practice their faith.

Oh please don't even start with that. Theuy are hardly a minority and hardly persecuted. Maybe a few places here and there but in most western countries they aren't persecuted at all. They've enjoyed hundreds of years of state support and laws based on their religion and now finally that is changing. Don't forget the church persecuted non believers and believers of other faiths for hundreds of years as well.

Atheism isn't a cult it's a lack of belief in god. Also countries like Denmark and Iceland which have extremely high atheists populations have lower crime rates especially violent crime.

Given that you have two countries with high rates and atheism and low crimes rates, and yet there are examples of countries like Maoist China and Soviet Russia that actively did their best to enforce atheism which had high rates of violence enforced on the populace if not outright crime or both ...

I'd say that maybe you ought to stop patting your lack of faith for being a crime stopper as perhaps your crime rate information is at best a correlation, not an outright causation.

Comparing countries like Denmark and Iceland where people choose not to believing in god with countries where it is forced is comparing apples and oranges. The violence from Mao s regime had nothing to do with lack of belief in god as it was forced so many people still believed in their deities just in hiding.

So I've often wondered about this, does prophecy work by the actions of a "outside force" on unsuspecting actors. Do these actors not have free will, or are they automatons fulfilling a prophecy. See where this sort of logic ends up?

Actually in the 20th century alone atheism outright genocidally slaughtered more people than all the worlds religions combined. You have your great atheist heroes like Stalin and Mao, Pol Pot and the leaders of North Korea slaughtering and torturing hundreds of millions.

You would do the same again if you had full control of the west. But it won't happen because atheists are too busy turning over the keys to the muslim hordes. They will also commence the killing as soon as that happens.

Most atheists hate christianity so much they'd rather be ruled by Muslims. This proves once again that the Bible is right, for only an evil spirit opposed to God could account for it.

As for the widespread christian persecution, it is a sad fact of history. Just hope that you atheists won't be held accountable for it, as your spiritual forefathers Marx and Lenin were.

What a crock. Persecution of Christians? Because they aren't the dominant religion anymore ? Who did the persecution during the crusades? Christians.

Also none of this is any proof of the bible? That's absurd. I have no desire for any religious government be it Christian Muslim or any other kind. And atheists would not rather be ruled by Muslims. They would prefer full separation of church and government.

You can't compare countries that force atheism with people choosing not to believe in god either. Apples and oranges my friend. I don't care what you belueve as long as your beliefs don't impact other People and the planet we live on.

How many people did Satan kill in the bible ? The answer is ten and that was because god allowed it as part of his bet regarding Job.

God killed 2.5 million in the bible. That's not counting the flood. Not that I think any of that is true but if so that god is as bad as any dictator in history.

Secondly just because certain dictators were atheist doesn't mean that their lack of belief in god was the reason for their atrocities. Nor does it mean that atheists are all bent on power and genocide.

Regarding Muslims ill have you know I've never had a Muslim tell me I have to convert or call me an infidel or sinner. I have however had many Christians come to my door or tell me on the street of my impending burning or loss of my soul. Hence why I don't worry that much about Muslims.
