This is about a dream, not a prediction.

During the night I dreamed that I was helping to build a small, scaled down particle accelerator. It was to be named after the physicist Enrico Fermi.

It was going to be called The Fermini.

Seriously, I dreamed that.

Maybe they dreamed you the answer to warp drive or something. Did you get any schematics?

No schematics. Just a chuckle. I dreamt a pun.

Are you sure it's not a particle decelerator? The one developed by Vortex (1992) and then copied/modified by JILA labs (1995) is a desktop unit that can be used to examine quantum states through the production of bose-einstein condensates.

Cheers - Dave

Hey hold on now Fermi already has an accelerator named after him.
Leon Ledderman and Fred Alan Wolf have been waiting. Name it after wolf he's a little guy. Plus people already know him.

I thought Fermini was a type of pasta...

It'd be hard to make a size related pun with Wolf or Ledderman, though.

That's what got me about the dream. It made perfect sense since it was a small-scale accelerator to name it after Fermi but call it the Fermini.

I'm not real big on puns. I enjoy the occasional good one, but don't go around making them up.

Too bad it wasn't a cat nap!

If I ever end up with a Mini Cooper can I call it "Fremini"?
